It's middle of the night the water on the ocean waves slow and calming as always. But this night changed everything for the family Garcia's. In one of the rooms where their daughter sleeps deep and safely. At least they thought she was safe.
When one door closes usually the other would open, however it didn't happen tonight. Tonight all the doors were closed. Mr. and Ms. Garcia were in the living room enjoying their beautiful evening with red wine tonight.
They laugh and chattered like every other couple would do on a date. Maids cleared the table as they finished.
"Dearest Nina it's been a long time since we ever had a beautiful evening. We should repeated anytime soon again." He mumbled to his wife. Yes they loved each other, like Yin and Yang two souls united. A love story equally in the fairy tale stories.
The warm giving by the fireplace embraced the room. Mrs. Gracia stood up from the sofa giving her husband a soft kiss on the cheek before she left the living.
Walking through the quiet long hallway on her way to the stairs, a quiet laugh escaped her lips. This is the life she always wanted to give her children in the future.
A safe home where she could be herself, a house right near the beach. The necklace on her chest sparkled as the light from the moon shines on her necklace.
A gift from her grandmother after she passed away. She wandered up the staircase to her daughter's room. She placed the necklace on the small table in the hallway beside the stairs.
The dress she wore it suited her like a glove, dark green her favourite colour with iris white flowers on it. With her hand she pressed the door handle open up the door of the room.
With her plump fingertips she ran her finger over the books, cupboard remaining at the cabinet board. A picture of her daughter and her can be seen on it. A smile cropped up on her lips.
She loved her daughter so much that she would sacrifice her life for her. Everyday in summer they were in bathing suits examining the waves as they played near water.
Recalling the memories made her realize how she never got the same love from her parents. Nina's life was very different to her daughter's. Her parents told her to perfect at everything, school, being a respectful daughter, literally everything you could imagine.
But she didn't want her daughter to perfect and just accepted her the way she is with all her flaws. Reaching the bed where her daughter is peaceful sleeping, she strokes the fallen strand out of her face. She bent down to her daughter, bequeath a soft kiss on her lip.
"Thank you for being my yellow, my love." She whispered as tears trickled down her cheeks. All of a sudden a weird stench was in the air. She turned around. Was this the last time she will see her daughter? Running out of the room taking the stairs down fume came from the living room.
"Matt! Matt!." Nina shrieked her lungs out. The living room was flames, Matt laid on the floor panting for oxygen. With her hand on her nose she tried to avoid the smoke in the air but it was too much. Where are the maids if you need them ? She asked herself, she threw herself down to her husband knowing they would make it out alive.
All she could think is about her daughter sleeping in the room. Nina's eyelids started slowly to shut down. Everything around them was in flames.
