CHAPTER 51-A Christmas To Never Forget

The twins, Oliver, Sirius and Harry overheard making them stop in their tracks, (Y/N)'s heart broke at his words and they way he sounded. Liam kept crying and holding on to her as tears started to form in her eyes, she kept rubbing his back, Ava Snape, the woman (Y/N) saw as another mother figure was dying. (Y/N) sniffled as she blinked the tears away, someone cleared their throat behind the boys and Sirius making them turn around as the teenagers kept hugging.

"Severus, I--i'm sorry about your wife." Sirius said sorrowfully as he looked at him. 

"Thanks Black....Liam, he...he needed a friend to talk to about this--Ava she's in the cottage, a healer is with her now. I--I don't know how long she has left." Snape said slowly as he glanced at Liam and (Y/N). 

"How bad is it?" Oliver spoke up looking at Snape.

"It's a family sickness.....her mother had it and she was afraid it was going to happen to her, She's forgetting things and sleeping a lot, barely eats." Snape went on.

"It's going to be okay, I can go with you to the cottage." (Y/N) mumbled. Liam didn't respond as he just nodded and was still holding on to her. 

"How long, how long does she have left?" Sirius asked, the twins, Oliver and Harry taking their eyes off Liam and (Y/N) to look at Snape, who was looking at the ground.

"A day or so, the healer--saying by the state she is now..." Snape muttered. 

"Does--" Fred started.

"No, I don't want to tell him...Liam needs to spend enough time with her without thinking he has a time limit. He's already not taken this well." The boys nodded as Sirius looked at Liam and sighed with a frown. 

"Is he planning to go back home to Ava for christmas?" Harry asked. 

"Yes, I told him to spend it here but he wanted to be with her." Snape said. Liam pulled away from (Y/N) as she just held his face and wiped his tears.

"It's going to be okay, I can go and spend--"

"No, stay here....spend it with Sirius. I'll spend it with mum and dad, i'll Owl you if I need anything." Liam mumbled. (Y/N) sighed but nodded as she pulled him down for one more hug and kissed his cheek. 

"I'm sorry mate." Fred spoke up from behind (Y/N), Liam pulled away and looked at him and nodded. Fred stuck his hand out for Liam to shake to which he did, he them hugged Liam and patted his back. "We're here, if you want to talk."

"Thanks." Liam said, George and Harry also hugged him before he turned to look at Oliver.

"I'm really sorry Liam, I like Ava, was like another mother." Oliver said as he hugged Liam, him started to breakdown again as Oliver didn't mind nor let go.

It was now Christmas morning, (Y/N) was quietly getting her clothes as Liam was sleeping in her room. After Snape and Liam came to 12 Grimmauld place last night Snape insisted Liam to stay while he went to check on Ava, it took a lot of convincing but he finally agreed to stay over. (Y/N) decided to give him, her room while she slept in another room, she made her way to the bathroom and decided to take a quick shower.

As (Y/N) was finishing brushing her teeth she heard some rustling coming from the room, she furrowed her eyebrows as she spit out the water and turned it off as she opened the door. (Y/N) was wearing black leggings, oversized sweater and some flats, Liam was currently getting out of bed as he was stretching, he turned around to see (Y/N) making him smile.

"Good morning." 

"Good morning Liam, Merry Christmas." (Y/N) smiled as she finished tying her hair in a messy bun.
