I rushed home to Adora after a long meeting today, opening the door she was sitting on the couch in my shirt to her thighs eating a tub of ice cream— I dropped my keys somewhere when her eyes lifted up to me— she had been super sore from yesterday so I made sure to massage her body before I left. Picking her up she planted kisses all over my face before furrowing her eyebrows.
"What's wrong you're quiet?" I sat down with her in my lap nuzzling my face in her neck just wanting to be with her smelling her sweet scent. Her fingers played with my hair as she hummed something letting me enjoy being with her right now. Adora was already my safe— she was the person I needed in my life—I just wanted to be in this moment forever just holding her hearing her heart beat, I wanted her so close to me.
"I love you Adora" I closed my eyes hearing her voice softly repeat the words. "Can we go upstairs?" she nodded— I carried her up the steps laying her down on my chest hearing her slow breaths.
"Reid, your mother stopped by earlier shes having a dinner tomorrow with your family and she would like us to go".
"We'll go just please can we go back to bed I missed you way to much today" she laughed before turning off the little lamp holding me in her chest.
ADORA||
REID was tired all of today, I let him sleep in because he didn't want to get up— Ryan was here down stairs but I told him Reid was still asleep but he said he was here to talk to me. I brought him a coffee taking a seat.
"I'm pretty sure my brother hasn't told you because he really doesn't care for it, but his birthday is tomorrow hence the whole dinner thing" he went on to explain. I did feel a bit hurt that he hadn't told me when his birthday was but yet neither had I.
"As a child we never done anything for his birthday because he didn't want us too, he'd disappear for that day but since you're with him we'd like you to get him to come to the dinner".
"He may had already agreed but when tomorrow rolls around I promise tomorrow he won't" Reid came down the steps with his grey sweats hanging around his hips— his shirtless body expressing the many tattoos along his skin. He came over sitting me on his lap taking a sip of my coffee kissing my cheek.
"Please Adora" Ryan said before leaving shutting the door. Reid turned me around so I was straddling his lap.
"What did he want" I had to be quick but lying to Reid was like begging to be thrown over his lap waiting to get spanked with another wooden paddle.
"I want a puppy" I beamed, actually I've wanted one for so long but Theodore was allergic.
"We're not getting a puppy Adora" he tried kissing my lips but I stopped him. "Kiss me angel" his hands slid under my shirt enjoying the warm ness of my skin.
"Can we get a puppy" I frowned when he shook his head getting off his lap I moved to the side of the couch clutching the pillow— he laid his head on my lap with the smile on his face.
"If you kiss me we'll go right now to check out pets okay" I held his face giving his a quick peck but he only held my neck deepening the kiss.
"You are so lucky I'm way too in love with you to say no" I ran to get his keys but he stopped me. "Adora, you're only wearing my shirt and I'm not wearing a shirt" I realized moving my legs upstairs before he slapped my ass. I was still sore so going up the steps was definitely a sport. Tomorrow was Reid's birthday so I was also planning to see what caught his eye to give it to him— I would somehow have to get him to go to this dinner.

WE made it to the pet store and I regretted this already, the man at the counter couldn't take his eyes off Adora while she played with the small dogs— she even now wanted this one bunny with white fur but a black spot on its side. The man took us to the back with more puppies I had never seen Adora so in love with some thing that wasn't me they all ran up to her attacking her at once causing her to laugh as the jumped around her feet.
"Reid I can't pick can we take them all" she picked up the small dog with brown fur— then another with black fur and sliver eyes with small brown fur on its palms. "I have enough love for all of them please" she whined with that cute pout of hers. I was a second on saying yes because of the look in her eyes.
"We can't have thirty two small dogs running around in our house, plus they'd steal you away from me I don't want that" I'm pretty sure one of them growled at me when I kissed her.
"Choose one" the small dog with black fur turned to me before jumping down from Adora running around my feet before laying on my shoe.
"This one, we'll take this one" she picked the small dog up causing the others to wail at her feet.
"I'm sorry, I'll be back for every last one of you when he comes to his senses" she pointed to me, all the dogs barked at me before returning to their cages.
"See what you did they hate me now" she petted the dog in her hands.
"They don't hate you, they hate me now let's go pay for all the stuff before I change my mind" she hurried out the door making me laugh— she placed a small dog bed, with treats and a keychain on the counter with a leash along with many different toys while I handed the man my card.
"What's her name" the man behind the counter asked. She looked over to me seeing the dog watch me with its tail wagging in the air running over to me— I picked up the dog playing with its ears.
