CHAPTER 3

I felt really bored today so I decided to go in the garden to find something interesting to do. It looked dull; all I ever see are a wooden bench, a fountain full of algae, grass covering the whole ground and empty flower beds. Let me try to renovate it.
I went to the storage room to look for tools and I'm glad there are so I busied myself cleaning, beautifying and planting until I didn't notice that it's already dark.

Woah...might as well continue this tomorrow. I'm already starving so I left the garden but when I entered inside, Sakusa-san is already back. He's seated on the couch while watching television. Oh goodness...I'm all sweaty and dirty, what should I do? I got really scared when he gazed towards my direction and noticed how his brows creased deeply at the sight he saw.

"I-I just finished cleaning the garden. I'll shower right away." And then I quickly left without looking at him.

I felt fresh after having a cold shower. My muscles are sore after working all day. I flopped down on my bed when I finished drying my hair. I felt too tired to move that I rather chose to sleep than to cook for dinner.

And it was already in the afternoon when I woke up. The sun is scorching hot outside, drying everything and dehydrating people. It felt like I could melt anytime when I get out. I got up from the bed before I marched out of my room and I was welcomed by a deafening silence. I quickly headed towards the kitchen and cooked since my stomach is grumbling loudly, due to the fact that I haven't eaten anything since yesterday. After I ate my fill, I went back to the garden and continued what I had started.

The fridge was out of stock so I went to the grocery to buy some stuff. Sakusa's mom gave me credit card to use whenever I need it. She's so kind and has a warm personality, a total opposite of his son. I walked past the dairy section but I saw someone hardly reaching for milk carton above so I decided to help.

"Here you go." I said and handed it to him but both our eyes widened when we recognized each other.

"Kita-san?!"

"Atsu-kun?!" we both said in unison, making the others turn their heads towards us. We both chuckled when we realized we're being loud.

"Hey, I've never heard about you since you left the flower shop." He said and clung on my arms. He's been the closest guy to me at the shop. He's the florist and his boyfriend, Aran, was the owner.

"I just got busy." I simply replied and randomly picked a set of tissue on the rack.

"Ah, I see. I heard you got married." He intrigued while looking at me with a grin on his face. I lightly flicked his forehead.

"Quit thinkin' dirty, Mr. Perfect." I teased as I ruffled his soft, grayish hair. I call him Mr. Perfect because he got everything; the looks, the kindness and the intelligence. He was a highly respected person.

"So, where's your husband?" he asked while looking around. I was about to talk but his phone rang. Phew! I was saved.

We really enjoyed having a conversation with each other until it's time to finally say our goodbye with each other.

"Wait, before I forget, gimme your number." He handed me his but I scratched my head when I realized I don't even have one.

"I don't have a phone." He pouted.

"Oh, okay. I hope you find time to visit us at the shop. I'll really hunt you if you won't be coming there." I nodded my head.

"Yes, sir." He chuckled.

"Alright, take care." I waved my hand at him before he hopped on the bus. I somehow felt happy. It's been a while since I last talked to someone.
