Wendy
For Wendy time had taken its time passing. Every single night she would creep up to the window and unlock it. She no longer believed in PeterPan he was just a story, yet every single night she would sit on the edge of the window and tell the most fantastic stories of pirates, adventure, and sword fights.
When she fell asleep she remembered words she whispered in somones ear, how her kiss only belonged to this person. How it felt when she leaned in this boy tasted of forests, sea salt, and a summer breeze. His lips were soft against hers and ever bit of skin that touched felt like it was on fire. Wendy new she was in love, then the harsh reminder of his words how even the thought of love offended him. She pulled back, just as she was about to see the face of this boy a tapping sound woke her up.
Jumping up she barely grabbed the window sill and steadied herself. Trying to stop her heart from raising she looked up at a star just a little ways to her right.
"Silly" she whispered to her self before looking down. There was the shining face of Charles staring up at with a apology in his eyes and a grin on his face.
"Come on he said to her, jump down I promise to catch you" Charles was usually a stiff refined man with a elegance about him that always enchanted everyone he met. His usually slicked back curls were messy and bouncing in every direction. The curls of blond reminded her of something. Just then the moon peaked its head out and turned Charles pale skin in to something that seamed to be made of moon beams it self. Quickly she slid off the will and fell for a few seconds in to his arms.
"Let's go to the woods" he whispered in to her ear his breath made her skin shiver with warmth. She noded her head and he set her down and tay took off running to the woods still grasping each others hands.
Snow began falling down around them like being stuck in a snow globe. That followed the road until that heard someone whistling as thay walked down the path. Charles quickly led her to the bushes lining the side of the road and thay kept behind them just in time.
Peaking through the branches both saw a sailor walking to town. Soon as he passed the dashed out of the bushes barely concealing there laughter.
The park was one of her favorite places in London, especially when it snowed. The branches of the bare trees bent under the weight forming elegant archwys. Perfect snow covered the ground and stars twinkled above.
Laughing Charles fell back in the the snow smacking a snow angel soon both of them where making them laughing the entire time. Soon the cold started to get to her she tried to rub her hands and keep moving, but somehow she ended up leaning agenst a tree with his coat one and a arm around her shoulders. A sound rippled through the peaceful night it sounded like crowing.
"Did you hear somthing?" "Shy Wendy it was just the wind
"What if we get caught?"
"Where not going to, and I just wanted to ask "would you mind if I kissed you, you don't have to if you don't want to its just I-" she made up her mind time to stop being a silly child and grow up, no more stories and sleeping with the window open, from now on she was an adult. The dealing of his lips against hers washed out the last bit of a child left in her. That stopped for a moment to catch there breath. With the clouds of steam floating in front of his face he looked like a ghost that's when she heard the breeze whisper into her ear "good bye Wendy Lady"
