chapter 1

Rose

"Mom please turn that down!" I giggled

"How could I it's such a beautiful song." She said singing to the lyrics

"But it's sad." My sister Snow said.

"A lot of sad songs are beautiful and people do like them." Mom smiled

We both sighed and got out of mom's car, Because we where at the school

"Be careful you two and I love you both." She said

"We will and we love you too!" We both said in unison.

She drove off after that.....

.....

We where walking home from school, because our mom didn't pick us up. It was kinda strange....

"Don't you think it's strange mom didn't pick us up?" Snow asked

"Yeah but she's probably busy." I told her.

When we got to the house we saw the drop was open. My heart dropped.

"Stay behind me Snow." I told her.

"O-ok." She said. "But shouldn't we call the police."

"Not yet." I told her.

We walked into the house slowly. Luckily I had a knife with me for self-defense. I hate to admit it but I was kinda scared myself.

"Hello?" I shouted. "If anyone's here come out with your hands in the air!"

No one answered. I walked around the house with my sister behind me. When we got to the kitchen my heart sank.

Mom was on the floor bleeding.

"MOM!!" we both said rushing to her side.

"Snow call 911!" I told her.

She nodded and grabbed her phone and started to dial. I checked for a pulse and it was still there.

"Mom stay with us please!" I started to cry.

She opened her eyes a little and smiled. "I'm sorry girls." She said.

"Mom save your breath!" I told her.

"It's my time to go.............I love you both...........I'm glad to have you two as my daughter's............" She then closed her eyes again.

"Mom.....mom! MOM!!!!!!!!" I shook her. By then the police and ambulance have arrived. I couldn't do anything to save her that day.........and I do blame myself....

Rose

I was waiting In the airport for my sister. It's been awhile since I last saw her, her wedding day was the last I've seen of her. I checked the time on my watch. It was 2:30pm. I've been here for an hour now where could she be?

"Rose?" I heard a small squeaky voice behind me. "Is that you sister?"

"Of course it is who else could it be!" I turned around to face her.

She was wearing a green sundress and a smile on her face. She looked as beautiful as ever. I hugged her.

"I missed you sis!" She said.

"I missed you too." I told her. "So where are the kids?" I asked her

"Oh they should be here any second now."

"WE'RE HERE." I heard a boy yell running towards Snow and I. He looked just like her. He had her black hair and her flower patters on his skin. He was dragging a girl along with him. She had Snows white hair and Alex's x patters on her skin.
