Rukmini saw towards the chariot of Krishn. On the chariot were two ladies. Both were brides. "Who are those two women?", asked Vaidarbhi. Krishna told her how he married them on request of their respective father. Rukmini quietly went to her chamber after smiling faintly towards the new brides. She was angry on Krishn. He got two new wives for him. Had she been not loyal to him as he wanted?Rukmini was weeping quietly when Krishna came into her chamber and when he saw her weeping he said "Do not cry dear Vaidarbhi. You have not been less loyal to me. You are my most beloved and will forever be. I had to marry them because of the request their fathers made. You  are manifestation of Goddess Mahalakshmi. How can I, your Narayan not love you? Satyabhama is Bhudevi who is one of my wives and your sibling within Vaikuntha. Jambavan is my devotee from Treta Yuga. How can I not hear his wish Vaidarbhi?"

Hearing Krishn, Rukmini wiped her tears and smiled. "Yes Krishn, I am now willing to live happily with your wives Satyabhama devi and Jambavati devi knowing that they are goddesses. You made me realise that I'm Mahalakshmi. I do not have bad feeling for any one. You are not only mine, you are of all those women who have devoted themselves to you, you are of all those men who seek your lotus feet, you are of all those kids who pray to you for spirituality. You are the manifestation of Lord Vishnu. Forgive me Oh Krishn, I will now arrange for some silk robes for the brides. They are my co-wives and like my siblings."

Krishna smiled. "You are truly understanding devi", he replied to her. Rukmini arranged silk robes for Satyabhama and then for Jambavati. "I welcome you in Krishna's life Oh my dear co-wives. We will happily live here in Dwarka", Rukmini said to them. Those women smiled. They were pleased that Rukmini was nice to them. They lived happily in Dwarka.

Rukmini was kind to Satyabhama and Jambavati. Krishna came to her chamber more than the other two to make her pleased but she herself told Krishna to often go in the chamber of the other wives also, to make them satisfied. Krishna tried to test Rukmini in this manner, each time she won. She selflessly did service to Krishna's lotus feet. Krishna loved Rukmini more than any one.

One day, when Rukmini came out of her chamber she saw Satyabhama devi with concern and Narad muni near her. Rukmini greeted Narad muni and said "Devarshi! Welcome to Dwarka. For what purpose have you come to Dwarka?" Devarshi smiled.

"Satyabhama devi is conducting one vrata for Krishn. She asked me what she must give me inorder to satisfy me and I said give me your most dear gem. She said Krishna is dearest to her that's why I asked her to give me Lord Dwarikadhish. She started showing concern in her eyes on these words of mine, therefore I have now finally asked her to give me gold equal to Krishna's weight." Devarshi again smiled. Rukmini knew he had tricked Satyabhama devi this time.

Satyabhama was busy telling her maids to get some gold from her box of gold ornaments. She asked Krishna to come near her. Krishna first greeted Devarshi and then sat on the "Tula", a weighing scale. One other side of the weighing scale was put Satyabhama's ornaments. Satyabhama was sure that her ornaments were equal to Krishna's weight. But to her surprise the Tula did not even move. She kept telling her maids to get more and more gold but all her gold did not even move the Tula.

"Oh Satyabhamadevi, now I will take Krishna forever with me" Narad muni teases. Satyabhama was showing her concern on her face now. Rukmini could not see Satyabhama that sad. She thought for some time why this was happening. Then she brought one tulsi leaf from the garden.

"Get all those ornaments down Satyabhama", Rukmini said to her. After all gems were taken down from the weighing scale then Rukmini put the tulsi leaf on the Tula and lo! The scales equaled each other. How could a tulsi leaf weight be equal to Krishna's weight? each one thought. But Saryabhama devi had now come to realise very well that Krishna did not seek gold, he only had to be made pleased through devotion and simplicity with humbleness.

This incidence is said to be Tulabharam where love of Rukmini for Krishna reflects from her act of placing the tulsi leaf on the Tula.

Thus, through these incidents, the wives of Krishna lived happily amongst each other and did not have envy towards each other.
