Kaylah's point of view:

"Why would you try to keep me safe from my own father? Is he that evil?" I asked tears in my eyes.

"He wasn't that evil" Alaric said.

"He died, saving me" Hope said water filling her eyes.

"What?" I said tears falling.

"We shouldn't have listened to Elijah" Said Kol slamming his fist in the table.

"It's okay. I understand. You were trying to give me a normal life, a happy one. But I guess it can never be" I said as I wiped my tears and smiled softly at Kol and Davina.

"Yes. Always and forever" I said as the three of us hugged.

"We are really sorry" Davina said as we stopped hugging.

"Now I have an extra sister" I said looking at Hope smiling.

"Actually..." Kol started.

"Yes?" Hope said as she stood up.

"Your twins" Davina ended for Kol.

We both laughed a little and hugged tightly.

"Our dad wasn't really the big bad wolf everyone said he was?" I ask.

"Nope" Said Alaric.

"He cares about family" Says Kol, my uncle.

"Eh, he still did some bad things" Said Davina, my aunt.

"But after all he did die to save his daughter" Said Alaric.

"I'm sorry you didn't get to meet him" Hope said.

"What was he like, really?" I asked Hope.

"I don't really know myself, he was never really around. He was always scared of something" Said Hope.

"Yeah, and now that he's gone.. the curse is broken" Said Kol putting his arm around Davina.

I smile as I look at them.

"How do you know?" Josie asks.

"Yeah?" Lizzie also questions.

"For all we know the curse might not have broken" Said Milton agreeing.

"They've got a good point" Says Landon nodding.

"Or maybe it did break" Says Rafael.

"Or maybe it didn't" Jed said.

"Maybe" Said Kaleb.

"If the curse hadn't been lifted then you two wouldn't be here in the same room" Said Kol.

"Wait, If you knew the curse was broken why did you still hide us from each other?" I asked.

"We wanted to give you a chance at a normal life, like Rebekah, your aunt, my sister, wanted" Said Kol.

"She went to high school for a bit" Said Hope.

I smile softly.
