Stiles POV

Lydia and I walk through Mexico to this very dust place. "You know this is one of your worse plan yet." She says to me. "Why thank you, got anything positive to say to me?" I ask her. "This is a terrible plan and we are going to die." She says sarcastically. I put my left hand to my forehead as I am stressing. "Wow thanks for the confidence boost." I say to her as we walk up to the dusty place. "Hello we are here for the party." I say as Lydia says something in Spanish, but it doesn't work. The guards look at us and I say, "Wait, I think I got something." I dig through my right pocket and pull out a card with the calavera insignia. The two guards reach for their ear and let us in. I smile, nod my head and look at Lydia. "Shut up." She says to me. "What I didn't even say anything." I say as we walk into the club, the bass boosted music playing everywhere.

We go to the bar and we sit there for a little bit. That's when two drinks appear in front of us. I then say, "We didn't order these." "Oh no, these are on the house." A man says behind us. "We didn't come for drinks." I say as Lydia looks at the wall  with determination. "Americans don't cross the border to refuse a drink." The man says to us. "No we came for something else, or should I say someone else." Lydia says as she reaches in her pocket and grabs a silver bullet with a skull on in, dropping it in the alcohol shot.

We then get lead to a back room where we are met with an older Mexican lady. "You know I love the sound of the youth, Severo over there hates it, but me I love it, it sounds so chaotic and destructive." She says to us. "Look we are here to make a deal," I say as I put down fifty thousand dollars on the table, "That's fifty thousand dollars for Derek Hale." The old woman points the knife at me and says, "Now where does an American teenage boy get that type of money, maybe the Japanese mafia, or maybe it's the power of the inari, or is it the kitsune, no one truly knows what this one is. You girl, are a banshee, the wailing woman." She looks at me and Lydia as I say, "Come on have you seen Derek, he's boring a poor conversationalist and he is really rude and threatens people's lives, so just take the money, by the way I think the Japanese mafia prefer to be called the yakuza, but I might be wrong." Me and my stupid mouth, always letting it say retorts and quips at the worst times.

That's when we hear gun clicking. "It's was not smart to come alone." The Mexican woman says to me. "Who said that we came alone?" I ask her. The old lady doesn't respond, but continues to stare at me in confusion and worry. "You people have such bad timing, do you know what the dark moon is?" She asks Lydia and I. I breath in kind of knowing what a dark moon is. "It's part of the lunar phase when the moon is the least visible in the sky." Lydias says. "But do you know it's meaning?" The lady asks us. "Some people say it's a time of reflection or grief." Lydia responds. "Grief and loss, mija. I wonder why when you and your friends have suffered so much loss, that you would risk it again for someone like Derek Hale." The lady says to us rather calmly. "Well we just hate losing." I say back to her with a smirk. Lydia says, "I suggest you take the money."

"Now I wouldn't be the one to usually turn away from the banshees predictions, but in this case I must decline." She says as I hear, "Stiles, take off ten thousand." I grab one of the stacks and make it disappear. "I really do think you should just take the money." Lydia says again, a little more forcefully. "And yet, I must decline again, I'm sorry mija, but you have nothing to help you, gas them." She says as Severo, the huge bulk guy does what she says. I stand up and grab her guards and am about to tear them apart, but I stop when I hear Malia groaning in pain through the walkie-talkie, as I see Lydia having a game to her head. I let them go and the guards knock us out.

When I wake up I see Malia holding me in her arms, her eyes staring at me worried. When she sees me awake she holds me tighter and kisses my cheek. I smile and stroke her cheeks with my hands. "You're ok Stiles, I won't let them hurt you." She says to me as I smile at her, getting up as Scott says, "They still have Lydia." "So let's get out of here and leave." Malia says. I chuckle a little and kiss her on the lips as I say, "Malia, remember we don't leave friends behind, the rules of the animal kingdom don't apply to friend remember." She closes her eyes and sighs, nodding her head, remembering what I talked to her about. "Is that what you would do if you and Lydia were coyotes?" Kira asks Malia. "Yea, I would, and if it was a rough time hunting, I would eat her, and then leave." Malia says. "That's progress." I say as Scott and Kira look at us with narrowed eyes.
