Three months past

Scott POV

I lean on a tree as I look into the moonlit night, the full moon hitting my skin. "Scott, can you let me out please. I didn't mean to shift on the full moon last month!!" Liam yells at me. "Dude, you shape shifted and ran into the streets, fully naked!" I exclaim know I him, "Actually, why were you naked when you were out running into the street?" I turn to look at Liam, confused at him. "It was a hot night and I came back from working out." Liam says to me.

"Are you sure you're fine?" I ask him. "Yeah, I mean I am able to control my shift now, it was just one mistake." Liam says as I smell blood. I sigh and look at Liam and say, "Ok, I'll trust you, but I am going to have to watch you even more closely." Liam nods his head in understanding. "Can you release me now please." Liam whines. I sigh and rip the chains off of him, the metal chains, the chain links flying everywhere. I walk away and when I am about to turn away, I see deep cuts from Liam trying to suppress himself against the power of the full moon.

I turn back to Liam and grab his hands and say, "Liam, please stop punishing yourself. It's not good to any persons body. Even though we are able to heal, it shouldn't be forced to by cutting ourselves, that's inhumane." "I'm not punishing myself, I'm just forcing myself to stop shifting." Liam says as he wipes the blood off of his hands. I wait for him on my dirt bike, as the winds pick up, the sound of thunder roar through the sky, the rain starts to come down as Liam gets on my dirt bike.

We ride back to my house where Kira, Lydia, Cora and my mom are at. Liam puts his earbuds into his ears as he pulls his arms around my waist, squeezing onto me as tight as he can. I continue to ride my bike as Liam starts singing with the song on his phone. "They call me Mr. Bombastic, Mr. Fantastic." Liam sings as he continues to sing. I chuckle as Liam starts moving his head back and forth, his arms losing his grip around my waist. I then feel a metallic taste in my mouth as the air gains a burning smell.

"Do you smell that?" Liam asks me as he starts to sniff the air. "I don't know, but I don't think it's anything." I say to him, my mind not believing what I said. I shift my eyes to their alpha version, making sure that the forest is not having a fire deep in the woods, or that lightning didn't start anything. My eyes don't see anything, so I drive out of the forest reserve, reaching my house in twenty minutes. Liam gets off my bike to let me park it in the drive way. Liam runs and asks for the keys to the house, but I tell him that everyone is already there. Liam smiles and turns away from me, his legs taking him into the house.

I park my bike and when I get into my house, I see Cora and Liam attacking each other, their claws out and fangs protruding from their mouths. "Hey stop that, this is my house, and I don't want to see it destroyed." My mom says as she waves a spatula at the two of them. "Sorry Melissa." Liam and Cora says as Liam glares daggers at Cora. Cora smirks and says, "You wanna go, I'll beat your ass just like last time." Liam growls as he charges at her with his claws popping out. Cora smirks and dodges the attack and flipping Liam, slamming him hard into the wooden floor.

My mom lets out a whimper, so I decide to step in. "ENOUGH!!" I roar at him, my fangs and eyes coming in. Cora and Liam stop, both of them whimpering as I hear the door open. We al turn to see Derek already at the door. "Come in, it's open, we are about to eat!" I yell out to him. He walks in and says, "I can't wait to have some food, also I paid back the expenses to your mother today." "You didn't have to do that." I say to him, shaking his hand. "You know that I had to, after everything you have done, it's the least I can do, I mean you helped everyone so much." Derek says to me.

I smile and say, "Thank you so much, this year is gonna be the best. It's our senior year, I'm gonna be going off to college, Stiles and Malia are gonna be coming to my college as Lydia goes off to be a famous mathematician, Liam is going to be in his sophomore year as he takes over being the protector of Beacon Hills." Derek looks at me with a slight smile and says, "Well Cora and I will be here to protect Beacon Hills, as well as help Liam with everything." "That would be amazing, but what about Cora, doesn't she have to go to college?" I ask him.
