Victoria had already put all her bags and boxes in her dorm room and was saying goodbye to her family.
"Oh sweetie gosh im gonna miss you" Her mom said forcing another hug on her daughter, her dad had already said his goodbyes but her mom cant seem to let go.
"Mom she has to go" said her brother said in an attempt to get her mother to unhold her, when her mother did her brother took her to the side, "hey, are you ok?"
"Um.. yeah why wouldn't I be," but she really wasn't sure she was I mean she thought she was gonna marry Asher but he just ended things.
"Well i heard you and Asher this morning," Victoria's face fell, she really didn't want anyone to know just yet, until she came to terms with it, "I'm sorry that he's such an asshole, i mean who does that come on, you deserve so much better Vicky and there are many guys better than him... and don't give me that bullcrap about how 'but no one can be him' because you deserve someone better than him, ok?"
"Yeah ok" Victoria said looking down at her shoes,
"Now, you are gonna go in there and beat law school in the ass and show him you never needed him," she just nodded her head, "now we have a surprise for you so just stay here" Vitoria did what she was told, she just looked around the field in front of them and she saw someone, someone very handsome may I add, sitting with some people. She saw one of the girls kiss him on the cheek, and she immediately looked away but not before Mr.Handsome could turn around and look at her. When Victoria looked back to where the street was she could she a huge moving van coming in, she looked back to where the boy and is group was to find him no longer there. Disappointed she turned back only to see her mom carrying a small dog. Her face lit up as he mother came to a stop right in front of her.
"Oh my gosh, Mom thank you!"
"Just a little gift to remember us bye"
"Mom no one is leaving forever you can literally drive here every day if you want"
"Thanks for the idea sweet pea" All color washed from Victoria's face.
