By the time the moving truck was on campus Victoria's parents and brother were long gone. It was the next day and as Victoria was getting her schedule from the boy at the table, Zack, a girl with blonde hair and a tiny chihuahua in her very expensive looking purse walked up right next to her.

"Elle comma Woods" the blonde said to the boy, he looked her up and down strangely, and Victoria didn't blame him, Elle comma Woods sure stuck out like a sore thumb with her pink hat and fancy clothes,

"class schedule, map, book list" the boy said now turning to Victoria as Elle ruffled through the papers she was handed, he nodded towards her signaling her to speak.

"oh, Victoria Prescott," she said, and almost immediately after Elle said,

"wait a second- um my social events calendar is missing"

"your what?" He said confused, as was Victoria,

"social events, you know, mixers, formals, clam bakes, trips to the cape" Elle said with a smile on her face looking super excited but Victoria had never heard of a "clam bake" so she had a very confused look on her face until the guy laughed a little and hander her, her folder of things.

"Thanks" Victoria said quietly. As she was looking through her folder she heard Elle ask if someone had sighed in yet,

"Had Warner Huntington the III checked in yet?"

"um..." he said pretending to look through the papers he had, "no, maybe you should check with the cruise director on the lido deck." he said ending with a smile on his face, but Elle also had a smile on her face,

"hm," she turned around only to bump into Victoria "Oh im so sorry"

"no its ok is should have seen you coming" Victoria said while picking up the papers that fell on the floor,

"is that Prada's latest edition to their back to boring collection?" Elle pointed out, Victoria was impressed with how Elle spotted it so fast,

"uh yeah, why?" Victoria asked looking down at her bag in confusion,

"What's your name"

"Victoria Prescott"

"Elle Woods, I think were going to be great friends Tori, follow me" Elle said as she started to walk to where the groups were.
