Following their in depth conversation at lunch, Ava took the initiative and decided to propose.
"Marcus, I love you more than anything in this world." She said.
"More than lucozade?" Marcus asked.
"No."
"Okay."
She got down on one knee.
"Marcus, will you marry me?" Ava asked, her eyes swimming with tears as blue as sharpies.
She opened the ring's box. Alas, there was no ring inside. It was Macapaca that climbed out.
"Makka pakka akka wakka mikka makka moo!
Makka pakka akka wakka ikka akka oo!
Hum dum agga pang ing ang oo
Makka pakka akka wakka mikka makka moo!" said Macapaca.
"Okay." Said Marcus.
Macapaca placed a sparkling ring onto Marcus' strong, thick finger.
"No!" Shouted Ava.
"Maybe next time, my starfish egg." Said Marcus. Hand in hand, he and Macapaca flew away.
