A bounty hunter and a god (Loki romance)

As the avengers came up stairs Loki walked by looking irritated and flustered.  He ignored the curios stares from everyone and continued walking.  They went into the kitchen where they could hear someone talking.  "Your so lucky!  He's hot!  Oh, and I've heard rumors that the Avengers are going to be checking up on you occasionally.  Is it true?  Oh I would Love to meet them!"  The avengers hung outside the kitchen where the voices were coming from and listen to the conversation.  

"Yes Brooke the rumors are true in fact I just threatened them."  Bella said sounding slightly proud of herself.  "What?!  Are they still here?  Can I meet them?  Did they threaten you back?"  Brooke continued to ask questions but Bella cut her off.  "How about you talk to them yourself?  Their just hiding around the corner."   The avengers shuffled into the kitchen where Bella was leaning up against the counter with an eyebrow raised.  

She sighed and pushed off the counter.  "Brooke you keep them entertained, I need to go make sure Loki isn't going through with his threat to gouge his eardrums out."  Brooke beamed at the Avengers and wound in between them asking a million questions.

Bella walked down the hall to Loki's room.  She knocked on the door.  "Enter."  He said.  Bella opened the door and leaned against the frame smirking.  "Well i'm glad you can still hear."  She said teasingly.  Loki rolled his eyes.  "Why is her voice so high?  And how can she talk so fast?"  Loki asked exasperated.  They had gone upstairs and started lunch when Brooke came in unannounced talking about a mission she was about to go on when she noticed Loki and started flirting with him. 

Bella laughed.  "Honestly, I have no clue.  I wish she wouldn't just come unannounced.  Or at least knock on the door instead of just walking in."  She said wincing.  Loki chuckled.  "Did she leave?"  He asked.  Bella chuckled.  "No I left her with the Avengers but I'm about to go remind her she has a job to do."  Loki smiled.  "I'll come down in a few minutes."  He said

Bella smiled and walked out shutting the door.  Loki layed back on his bed sighing.  Hopefully Brookes job would keep her away for a while.

Bella smiled as Brooke complemented Natasha's hair and begged Clint to let her use his bow.  Unbeknownst to her that he took his hearing aids out.  Much to the jealously of the others.  Bella smiled and stepped forward  "Brooke?  Weren't you here to grab some extra amo for your mission?"  Brooke stood up.

"Crap I forgot!  I can just find that in the reloading room right?"  She asked.  Bella shook her head.  "I moved it to the disguises room."  She said. Brooke nodded and ran off.  Bella moved to the fridge purposely ignoring the Avengers who were still recovering from their meeting with the eccentric woman. 

Bella pulled multiple ingredients out of the fridge and set them on the counter.  "Are you all planning on staying for lunch?"  She asked.  "We don't want to impose."  Steve began.  Bella silenced him with a glare.  "Don't give me that crap.  You guys showed up unannounced and told me I'm supposed to house one of you.  You are completely fine with imposing."  She said aggressively cutting up some beef.

Before anyone could respond Brooke bounded back into the room hugging Bella from behind.  "Thank you I'll see you in a few days!  It was nice meeting you all!"  She said waving to the Avengers.   They all half halfheartedly waved back as she ran out the door.  Bella caught it and called after her.  "Stay safe and bring me the shells so I can reload them!"  She said.  Brooke waved acknowledging she heard. 

Bella went back to the meal she was preparing.  "I'm going to have Lunch ready soon, so i'm just going to assume you'r all staying."  She said.  They all sat silently as Bella moved around the kitchen.  After a few minutes Loki came into the room.  "Please tell me she left."  He said.  Bella chuckled.  "Yeah she's gone.  We probably won't see her for a few days."  Loki sighed in relief.

Nat smirked.  "It's good to see you still have your eardrums."  Loki winced.  "You met her and you cant tell me you didn't at one point consider making yourself loose your hearing."  "If she didn't talk us to death she might not actually be that bad."  Clint mumbled slipping his hearing aids.

Bella tossed some meat into a frying pan with some seasonings.  "Careful how you speak, She's one of my team members and I still love her."  She said.  "Why is she on your team?"  Steve asked.  Bella chuckled.  "Because she is a master of disguise and believe it or not stealth."  Everyone scoffed and Bella chuckled.  "I know that's outlandish but i'm serious.  Brooke loves to talk and can't seem to shut up but when it really matters even a light breeze sounds louder than her."  Everyone fell silent.

A few minutes latter Bella had steak taco's on the table and everyone was digging in.  After lunch the avengers were preparing to leave.  "Which one of you is staying tonight?"  Bella asked.  They all looked at each other.  "Well princess, we decided to have Nat come back tomorrow but for tonight were going to  leave you two alone."  Tony said. Bella nodded and smiled turning to Nat.  "We'll see you tomorrow then."  She said.  Loki watched Bella with an eyebrow raised as she showed them to the door and gave Clint the recipe for the beef.

She waved one last time as they drove off before turning to Loki scowling.  "Go pack your bags."  She said.  "Why?"  he asked.  "Because if Shield thinks they can march in here and mess up my personal life they've got another thing coming."   She said pulling out her phone and making a call.

Loki followed her around listening to her conversation.  "Hey, Livia?  We have a problem."  She said.  "What no!  No ones dying... yet.  No I'm just kidding.  I got a visit from the avengers...  Yes the Avengers will you please listen?!  Im leaving town within the hour and I need you to please book me a hotel far from here.  Just send me the address and I'll be their by tonight.  What?  no!  How am I supposed to get halfway across the world by tonight?  ugh.  Alright.  Thanks.  mhm k bye."  

"Were leaving?"  Loki asked.  Bella nodded.  Yep so get ready because I don't plan on coming back for a week.  Then if the avengers still want to keep an eye on you their welcome to stay but we're going to cause some mischief while their here."  Loki grinned wickedly.  "Oh?  What kind of mischief?"  He asked.  Bella smirked.  "Like, i'm going to make you believe your mentally unstable kind of mischief."  She replied.

Loki grinned and walked to his room.  "Sounds like fun, I cant wait."
