Bella wandered around.  She was in a fog.  "Bella!"  she looked around for the person calling her.   "Bella!"  Bella squinted.  The fog was so thick she couldn't see more than a few feet in front of her face.  This was strange.  Was she dreaming?  This wasn't like any of her other dreams.  All her other dreams were dark and full of shouting and pain.

Suddenly the fog cleared and Bella was standing in front of a house.  Bella gasped in surprise.  This was the house she had dreamed up with Broody.  "Look familiar?"  a voice whispered in her ear making her jump.  She put her fists up defensively but faltered when she saw who had spoken.

Broody gave her a lopsided grin.  "Wow, is that any way to greet your long lost love?"  he said holding his hands out.  Bella cried out and ran into his awaiting arms.  Broody held her for a moment before pulling away.  "Whats wrong?"  He asked.  Bella took a shuddering breath.  "Your dead... This is just a dream."  She said sorrowfully.  Broody nodded.  "Yeah this is just a dream but i'm here right?  This is your dream. I don't have to be dead."  He said.  Bella looked around confused.  "Is this... me?"  she asked in disbelief.  Broody chuckled and nodded.  "Yeah."  Bella continued looking around.

"But how?  I've never been able to control my dreams.  Not to mention all my dreams are nightmares."  She said.  Broody nodded.  "I know, but this is all you."  He said taking her hand.  "Come on.  I want to show you around."  he said.  He lead Bella through the house.  It was everything she had ever wanted.  From the front entryway, to the bedrooms, even the playroom they had dreamt up for their children.  It was all here.

Bella looked around before sorrowfully meeting Broody's gaze.  "I'm so sorry."  she said trying to hold back sobs.  "I couldn't save you!  You died and it's all my fault!"  She said breaking down. Her knees gave out and broody caught her and slowly sank to the floor with her.  "Hey, shh.  It's okay.  Hey, look at me...  It's not your fault okay?  You did everything you could.  I'm sorry  i put you through this pain.  I wish I could take it away."  He said  Bella tried to calm her sobbing but only made it worse stuttering and gasping while trying to continue saying i'm sorry.  Broody held her tight and sang to her just like he did when he was alive.

After a while Bella calmed down and just stayed cuddled up with Broody.  "Bella?"  "Hmm?"  "I know you like Loki."  He whispered.  Bella looked into his eyes waiting for him to continue.  "You should give him a chance.  You need someone in your life and he really cares for you."  he said Bella winced.

"Aren't you angry?"  She asked.  Broody smiled softly.  "I died.  I can't have you.  But I wan't you to be happy."  he said. Bella nodded shakily.  Broody hugged her again.  "I need to go.  But promise me you'll give him a chance." he said.

Bella sat up frantically.  "No, no, no!  You can't leave!  I still need you!"  she said desperately.  He smiled sadly and cupped her face.  "I love you and I always will."  He said fading away.  Bella sobbed desperately trying to grab him just to have her hands pass through. She kept crying out his name and trying to grab him when she felt herself waking up.  No!  This couldn't be over!  She had so much to tell Broody!

Bella woke up in her bed covered in sweat and tears.  She curled up in a ball and cried for a while before getting up.  She walked over to Loki's room and knocked on the door trying to hold herself together.

After a minute Loki opened the door.  "Bella?  Are you alright?"  He asked.  Bella opened her mouth to speak before breaking down.  Loki ushered her into his room and sat her on the couch.  Bella sobbed into his chest tired of crying but unable to stop.  "Bella? what happened?  Was it a nightmare?"  Loki asked quietly.  Bella shook her head.  She told him about her dream.  She told him everything, from the fog to walking around the house, to desperately trying to stop broody from fading away.

"Please don't leave."  She whispered into Loki's chest after a while.  Loki looked down at her concerned.  "Darling I wouldn't dream of it."  He said reassuringly.  Bella nodded.  Loki yawned and she looked up at him.  "Can i sleep in here tonight?"  She asked.  "I don't want to be alone."  She quickly added."  Loki nodded  "Of course." He said picking her up.

He set her on the bed and climbed onto the other side yawning again.  Bella rolled onto her side.  "Thank you Loki... goodnight."  Loki smiled to the dark.  "Goodnight."  He said softly.
