Alpha: ibu?? (mom?)

Ibu: ya nak.. akhirnya kau balik jugak nak... (yes my son.. finally you're home)..

Alpha kissed his mom's hand and hugged her tightly

Alpha: Acap rindu mak.. sangat sangat... (I missed you so much.. very much...)

Ibu: dah dah, ibu tau kau balik hari ni.. Hariz dah tolong bagitau ibu semua benda.. dah jom masuk.. bawak kamu punya teman tu sekali. (enough, i knew that you will be coming home today.. let's get inside, bring on your friends also)

Inside the house...

Alpha: tak banyak berubah ye bu lepas Acap keluar 5 tahun lepas... (there's not so much changes happens to this house after i left 5 years ago..)

Ibu: takda apa pun yang ibu nak tambah, sekarang pun ibu dah selesa, ibu bersyukur dengan apa yang ada. (nothing much, right now i'm pleased and very grateful of what i have.)

Alpha: adik adik mana bu? (where's my brothers?)

Ibu: angah kamu dekat asrama universiti.. dekat Johor. sekarang ni dah masuk semester akhir Degree. adik bongsu kamu pulak dekat IPG Seremban... baru je masuk bulan lepas.. dua dua ibu hantar ke asrama, berdikari macam kamu dulu. (your second brother is at the hostel in Johore.. currently finalizing his Degree, the youngest one is on the IPG Seremban, just made his admission last month, i've sent them to learn an independent life just like you).

Alpha: lega saya dengar bila mak kata macamtu. (i couldn't help but feel relieved.)

Ibu: Haa Acap, kamu tak kenalkan pun dekat ibu kawan kamu sorang ni. (Acap, you didn't tell me yet about your friend this one?)

Hariz: Acap punye teman istimewa ni makcik.. taste tinggi.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (She is Acap's soulmate.. high taste...)

Acap: nanti kau. (just you wait)

Acap: aaa ibu, kenalkan ni.. Io nama dia.. baru pertama kali jejak Malaysia, dia takleh bahasa melayu lagi(mom, this is Io, first time arrived in Malaysia, cannot talk in bahasa yet)

Io: how are you auntie?

Ibu: i'm fine.. thank you. Io, i heard from Hariz that you're always accompanying Acap wherever he goes.. keep on doing that.

Io: ehee .. thanks, i will. mutters inside this Hariz guy really messed up.

After hours spending time on Alpha's old house...

Alpha: aaa ibu, rasa rasa.. kami dah nak kene balik ni.. dah sewa hotel .. lagipun seminggu je Acap duduk Malaysia ni.. nanti balik Jepun balik.. kang Io homesick 🤣🤣 (aa mom, i think we should get back to our hotel.. besides, i only stay here for one week. After that, we need to head back to Japan. After all, Io is homesick..)

Io: punches Alpha on the rib

Alpha: owww...

Ibu: chuckles haaa yelah.. lagipun mak dah takda apa nak pesan lagi pun.. 5 tahun kamu hidup sendiri.. dah tau macamana kehidupan luar. Ibu bangga dengan kau Acap. (yeah right, i think i don't have anything to advise you. You have been independent for 5 years and already knows how hard the outside life is.. i'm proud of you my son.)

Alpha: takda apa la ibu, lagipun.. ibu jugak yang didik Acap dari kecik kan... (it's nothing.. after all you're the one that teach me since i'm young)

Ibu: apa apa pun.. Semoga berjaya dalam apa jua kehidupan kamu lepasni. Jaga teman wanita kamu tu elok-elok.. Ingat. s(what's important right now.. i wish you all the best in everything that's coming to you in the future. Take care your girlfriend.. remember.)

Alpha: i will mom.

Both of them hugs tight each other.

Moments later... Alpha and the others leaving with Hariz's car back to their hotel.

Alpha: thanks Hariz.. for reuniting me with my mom.

Hariz: not a big deal.

Io: your mom is beautiful babe..

Alpha: well, look at her son.. as charming as he comes.

Io: welk

Hyo-Min: i want to puke

Hariz: me too.

Alpha: come on babe if i'm not charming you don't fall in love with me am i right?

Io: yeah fine..

Io started to lean her head to Alpha's shoulder.

Io: i love you babe.

Alpha: back to you..

Hyo-Min: i wish i do have someone to lean mine too....

Hariz: me?

Hyo-Min: nope thanks.

Hariz: boooooooo

All of them chuckles.

At the hotel room.

Io: babe, since we're just met your mom today.. can you tell me more about her?

Alpha: it's gonna be a long story? sre you sure?

Io: well, consider it done.

Alpha: my mom is a strong woman. Proves that she always put herself first before everyone else in the house.

Io: means?

Alpha: she always making sure that everyone has done their dinner first, then she will take the leftovers if there's still.

Io: if there's no leftovers?

Alpha: she only takes a glass of water then.

Io: man.. that's hurt.

Alpha: i kinda feel bad for her somehow.. but you know what she said? she said that you will understand the feelings when you're having your own family. That's why i admired her a lot.

Io: she wants the best for her family indeed.

Alpha: yes she was. There was actually one moment that she gets a free ticket to a theme park, only for one person with her colleagues.

Io: then what happened?

Alpha: she turned it down.. because the company doesn't give a free tickets to us. Weeks later she resigned from that company and she's becoming a businesswoman from home up until now..

Io: just for that reason?

Alpha: yep, i remembered that day when i persuaded her to go on her own and enjoy herself. But she responded that how can she enjoy herself without us by her side.. she also said that we.. as her children by her side is the most enjoyable thing that happened to her life. That's why I promised to myself that i want to protect her at all costs.. as she protected me since I was a kid.

Alpha wants to talk more but Io already fallen asleep on his shoulder. Alpha smiles as he kissed Io on the forehead & cheeks as he covers her with a blanket. Alpha also covers himself with the same blanket and sleep with her beloved girlfriend.
