Chapter 5

Time skip:

~Tom's POV~

It was silent in the room. I sat there thinking, thinking about him, thinking about what I said. When I had snapped out of my thoughts I heard a lady say, "Locking all doors in base." She sounded like a robot. Then I realized, I'm in a room! I admittedly got up and started banging on the door yelling, "Help! Help! Let me out of here!" I started to panic. I remembered my pills and took it out of my pocket. I took one out and swallowed it. "Tom..." I heard a Norwegian voice say. I quickly turned around and looked up. "What are you doing..." "Uhhh..." I lied and said, "Taking my prescription." "No, your not. Give me the bottle." "Why should I?" "Because, now give me them." "No. Tell me why first." "..." He just look to the side. I noticed a small amount of blush on his face. "Look, if you tell me why, I'll tell you a secret not even Edd or Matt know about, deal?" He looked back at me and held out his hand. I took it. "Deal." We shook hands and let go. "Now tell me why, Tord." "Its because I, I... Because your an important pat in my plan and I cant just let you die and my plan go all wrong. Now give me the pills." I gave him the pills. "Now it's my turn. I am a monster and I cant get rid of it." "Yes I know." "How?!" "I put it in you." "Why!?" "Because its because you are an I'mportant part in my plan, ok, but now we need to go." "What do you mean?" "You need to get in the bunker while I fight." "No, I'm not going to hide!" "You need to, I dont want to lose you." "Then you wont. Get me all ready to fight before I go out there then." "Look, we can do that tomorrow. Now come on." He grabbed my hand and took me to the bunker. I got in and he left me with the light on and told me to stay low or 'they' would find me.

~Tords POV~

I had put Tom in a safety bunker for protection. 'I hope he's safe in there' I thought. "Red leader, sir?" I heard my walkie-talkie say. I took it out of my belt holster and said, "What is it?" "We had gotten a call about you putting someone in the bunker. We just wanted to tell you that they are not safe." By this time I was already half way to the field. "They're what?! What do you mean they're not safe?!" I was mad and worried. "W-well sir, 'they' hacked into the bases system and unlocked everything." "Well get it back!" "We're trying sir but they have gone to far into the system." Right then, I realized, Tom's files were in the system. "You better get the system back from right now or I'll slit your throat!" I was so mad that I was practically yelling. I put my walkie-talkie back in its place and started running torwards the bunkers.

~Tom's POV~

'I can't believe he left me in here!' I thought. I thought he wouldn't have come back so soon, but I was wrong. So wrong. He had lifted up the door after unlocking it. He admittedly hugged me. "I'm so glad your ok! I thought you were captured already!" "Well I'm not. Now can you get off of me now? Your squashing me!" He got off of me and said, "Sorry." He grabbed my hand and ran away torwards the medical department. "Why are we going there?" "You'll see." When we got there he stopped and said, "There is no time, we have to do this now. Medics!" Just then a couple of white coated men came in there and took me back. Tord just stood there keeping guard to see if 'they' were there. They took me to a room with a surgery look to it. "Lay down. We will give you a little anesthesia to make sure you don't feel pain." As I lay down I ask, "What do you mean pain?" They gave me the shot and I felt it kick in. They gave me a few minutes for me to go to sleep. I finally did and after that I didn't know what happened.

~Time skip~

I woke up in the same place, I think, but with some sort of weight on my face. I sat up and looked around. It was black as when you go into a forest with the moon gone. "Hello, Thomas. Did you sleep well?" I couldn't tell where it was coming from but I knew the voice was no other than Tord's. "Where are you and what is this thing." I pointed to whatever was on my face. I felt Tords hands on my face and I flinched. Soon after, I could see Tord staring at me inches from my face. I let out a yelp and jumped back. He laughed and said, "Hahaha classic cute- I mean stupid, stupid Tom." Did he just call me cute!? "Did you just call me cute!?" "No!" I could see blush on his face. "Well if you did, dont do it in public." I took a few minutes to look around. It looked more calm than it was. "What happened and where did 'they' go?" "They left. We got the system back after defeating them." "Ok but, who are 'they' even?" Tord looked at me and said, "'They' are another army. I kinda blew up half of there army the other day and they wanted revenge." "Oh. So what exactly is this thing?" "Oh, it's a visor that shows me how you feel depending the eye color on the visor. It can also show you this." He reached up torwards the visor and clicked a button on the visor. It showed me Tord and I, holding hands. "What is this supposed to do?" "Its supposed to show you what you want to do right then and there." "Then why does it show us holding hands?" Just then, he grabbed my hands I could feel it. The video is had continued to play and soon enough, Tord kissed me in the video.
