The mafia

I woke up to the sounds of talking. my head was banging and my legs felt weak. I opened my eyes and took in the room around me.

It was a very plain room. White walls, a desk with a big computer and then a few chairs in the corner which were occupied by some strange men.

That's when the memories of last night came back to me and I remembered why I was here.

The boys hadn't noticed I had woke up yet as they continued their laughing and talking. I looked around and saw a door beside me. I tried to stand up but found myself stuck. That's when I looked down to see I had been handcuffed behind the chair I was sat on.

my sudden movements must have got their attention because they had all stopped talking and were just staring at me.

That's when the man I recognised as the leader came over, the rest following behind him as he sat down in front of me.

"oh wow. you caught me, some people only dream of this. count yourself lucky" I said in a bored tone. Its not like I hadn't been in this situation before.

the leader looked at me with a straight face, apparently unamused.

"how can you be so calm?" he asked, annoyed.

"lets just say this isn't the first time this has happened to me, hm?" I replied

there was a silence.

"well are you gonna tell me who you are and what you want from me or are you just gonna continue this awkward silence forever?" I questioned him.

"oh right. well im bang chan, thats lee felix, hwang hyunjin, lee minho, han jisung, seo changbin, yang jeongin and kim seungmin" 'chan' said as he pointed to each member in turn.

I looked at them all. although I had just been kidnapped by them, they didn't look anything more than just a bunch of innocent teenagers.

"right" i said as i observed them more. "and you decided to kidnap me for what reason?" I asked.

"well we are kind of part of a mafia, we needed a new recruit. channie-hyung said we needed you." one of the members spoke, I think his name was changbin. he was quite small but very muscly, I believe he was the one who tried to dive at me as his head was now slightly cut from hitting the wall.

I laughed slightly as he said "mafia"

"what's so funny?" he asked.

"you guys are part of a mafia? no way you look more like a bunch of lost girl scouts to me" I said amused.

"oh yeah? and how often do you get taken by girl scouts?" Minho said with a smirk.

"touché" I replied. there was another moment of silence.

"well I mean if you guys are just gonna sit there and stare at me all day I think I best be going, have some unfinished business to attend to" I said.

"you're not going anywhere" a deep voice spoke. felix I think? he had a thick Australian accent, even more so than chans.

"And what are you gonna do about it, freckles?" I questioned.

"don't speak to him like that!" changbin said, raising his voice.

"sheesh someone's protective. he your boyfriend?" I asked, amused, nodding towards felix.

Changbin went red instantly 'that shut him up' I thought.

"well?" I said after yet another pause. "are you gonna let me go or what?"

"you're lucky we didn't shoot you already so stop with the attitude. A bit of respect wouldn't be so bad huh?" jisung said, a tone of annoyance in his voice.

"oh yes how rude of me to forget my manners! ever so sorry, my greatest apologies" I said sarcastically.

"say anything else and I will shoot you" chan said. I turned back to him and stared him right in the eyes which he stared right back into as he pulled out a gun from his pocket.

"ooo some threat. you're really pulling out the big cards today aren't you?" I continued to annoy them. Death didn't scare me, I was just amused by this whole situation.

he held the gun right at my forehead.

"go on. do it. I dare you" I teased while smiling.

he removed the safety on the gun as I continued to smile.

I continued to stare right into his eyes.

"stop" one of the members said. " we need her, there's no use in shooting her."

"seungmin-hyung is right, chan. she clearly doesn't care anyways." jeongin spoke up.

chan huffed slightly. did he really want to kill me? I mean I wouldn't blame him after I have been acting to be honest but still not the point.

"fine, hyunjin-ah get the keys and unlock her handcuffs, take her to her room. dinner will be in 30 minutes. you better all be on time, I will explain everything to you then." he said to me. I just nodded my head in response.

hyunjin went to grab the keys off the desk.

"there's no need for them" I said. They stared at me in confusion as I removed my hands from my back, placing the handcuffs in Chans.

"how did you-" begun felix.

I pulled the hair clip that I had used to pick the lock from my pocket and placed it in my hair. I flashed them all a cheeky grin before going to meet hyunjin at the door to take me to my room.
