"NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM CAME."

The thought ripped Riko's heart like scissors. Her plans with her team to enjoy the festival together, just failed and now she's currently in the middle of the festival's crowd. All by herself.

She sobbed. "Fine. Then I'll enjoy the festival by myself." She placed her arms over her torso. The poor coach continued walking with her tight yukata. enjoy this.

"I'll make sure I'd enjoy this. They'll see." She cried.

BLAM!

She losed balance at the impact after hiting someone.

"A...Are you alright?" A tall spectacled guy assisted her.
She wept her eyes. "M...Midorima-kun!"
She recognized Shutoku's ace and shooting guard, Midorima Shintarou.
"Who are you again?" He asked.
"Eh?" She blinked.
"Aww. How rude of you Shin-Chan. How could you forgot such a beauty." A black haired guy came out from his back, Kazunari Takao, the hawk eyed guy from Shutoku and also Midorima's teammate.

"Wow. Looking cute, Riko-san!"
"Th...Thanks." She answered.
Midorima's eyes widened.
Takao grinned. "What's wrong Shin-chan? Ha-ha, don't tell me you didn't noticed."
"Ofcourse I actually know it was her." Midorima defended.

"Well I can't blame you. Since we usually see her in her school uniform."

Midorima just frowned.

"By the way, Riko-san, don't you have company?" asked Takao.
She placed her left palm at the back of her head. "Well ..."
"Good! How about you join us?!" Takao suggested. "What do you think, Shin-chan?!"
"I actually don't mind."

She looked up at Midorima, who quickly turned away his gaze from her. Avoiding eye contact.

"Alright! Let's enjoy this festival together!" Takao exclaimed.
"S...Sure." She couldn't decline. As if she have a choice.
"Well, it's better than being alone," she thought to herself as she followed the two.

After walking for almost ten minutes.

"We got ditched." She facepalmed.
"Damn that, Takao." Midorima's totally pissed.

"How scary," she murmured.
"Did you just said something?" He turned his attention on her.
"Huh? Nothing!" She shook her head.

They continued on walking.

"Hmm, how about, we scoop some goldfish!" she suggested.
"I'm not interested."
"Aww c'mon. I'd be fun!"
"No."
"Yes." She pulled him."They're over there!"
"Hey ... wait a second! I haven't agreed."

--------------------------------------------

"Ugh! It got away!" Riko groaned in frustration.
"Aren't you going to give up? It's already your twelfth time," he told her.
"No. I won't." She pouted.

"What a stubborn." He took the paper net from her.
"Hey! That's ..."
"It's just simple."

He caught one.

"Wow!" Her mood suddenly changed.
"Here, you can have it." He placed it on a plastic bag.
"You're serious?!"

He nodded.

"Ooooh ... T....Th...Thank you!"

Midorima looked away.
"It's nothing to be thanked of."
"But still thank you."

Riko tilted her head at the little girl beside her.

"Please, mom," the girl told her mother.
"No. It's already enough. It's time we head home," said the mother.
"But Mama, I really want goldfish, " the girl cried.
"No," the mother refused.
