(A/N: Sorry, I haven't updated the story! > ~ <' Life has been kind of hectic these past few months, and honestly, I wanted to finish the first book of my Harry Potter fanfic series before I started this one. If you would like to check it out, it's called The Flower and the Serpent. Also, I want to make it clear that this story won't follow the movie exactly as I may have mixed and added a few things in. Anyways without further delay, welcome to ~*~A Goofy Gal~*~!!)

"Whoohoo! Go Maxie!" I call out as my brother does a kick flip into the air before boarding to the other side of the ramp.

I couldn't help but snicker as he was nearly hit by our friend, PJ, after coming down from a one-handed hand stand. PJ had jumped his sports bike onto the ramp, tricking it in a spin as he flew off it and away from my brother, who hadn't lost any momentum despite the brief obstacle. Another friend of ours, Bobby, was rollerblading in and out of the orange traffic cones Max and I had set up prior to the party.

The sound of snapping tape caught my attention as I shifted my gaze over to near our house. Our father, Goofy, was trying to hang up a banner in front of the sliding glass doors. "Good Luck at College" was written across it in large red letters. However, no matter how much tape my dad used, the banner just wouldn't stay up. My eyes widened as I saw the tape roll away from my dad and around his friend, Pete, coming to rest behind the heavier man. Pete, himself, was preoccupied with grilling the party food and didn't notice the tape being pulled by  my dad until it yanked his feet out from under him.

A few bubbles of laughter snuck their way through my pressed lips as I watched my dad wrestling with the tape. Unfortunately, this only resulted in him getting wrapped up in the tape, causing him to fall onto his back. He closely resembled a mummy as he struggled to sit up. To add insult to injury, the banner decided to add to the dramatic sequence by falling down and covering his eyes. I couldn't reign in the suddenly burst of laughter as I walked over to help free my dad.

"Are you alright, dad?" I asked, trying harder to suppress the bubbly laughter now that I was in front of him.

"Oh, I'll-a be al-a-right now, Talayn-ee-a, hyuck," he chuckled a bit as I set about helping him escape the tape.

After helping dad up to his feet and clearing away the excess tape as well as using nails to hang the banner in place, I noted that the boys were taking a breather from their activities. Grabbing three water bottles, I calmly made my way over to the three males. Max smiled at me as I handed him one of the cool bottles. I handed the other two to Bobby and PJ before hopping up on the ramp's ridge to sit beside my twin.

Yes, Max and I were twins: fraternal twins that is. While Maxie looks more like dad, I've been told I closely resemble our mom. Of course, we share the same black hair, though mine is currently dyed navy blue, but other than that we don't have much in common looks-wise. However, we do share a like for skate-sports: Maxie prefers his skateboard while I like to zoom around on my rollerblades. However, more than rollerblading, I love to ice-skate, unlike my twin who is a total klutz on ice. Then again, I'm a total klutz on a snowboard.

I start to actually listen to the boy's conversation.

"Do you realize going off to college means no more well-meaning but totally smothering, overprotective, doting, a-hyucking dads?" Max comments, earning a scowl and an elbow-jab to the ribs from me.

"Yeah, well yours at least," PJ scoffs sadly. "My dad's been counting down the days until he can turn my bedroom into a bowling alley."

"Awe, cheer up Peej. I'm sure he will miss you," I smile softly at the depressed male, earning a small one in return until we all here Pete's shouting.
