(Back to) -『 No one's POV 』- Hailey's room

Hailey was pensive with that thought , got lost in it .. So She didn't hear that Zander had called Her many times from below to tell Her to come down for dinner together .
Zander went into Hailey's room and saw Her looking in an uncertain direction, Zander immediately knew that She was daydreaming and then ,

“Hailey??”

He approached His step-sister then tapped Her shoulder

“O-ohh , yes Zander? ..” The teal-haired girl seemed to be shocked a bit but then tilted Her head towards Her stepbrother .

“You know , I've been calling You for— Nevermind , just go downstairs , We've been waiting for You .. ” The lavender-eyed Boy apparently didn't want to say much, because their parents were waiting for them downstairs

After hearing Her stepbrother say so , She immediately got out of bed and followed Zander from behind to go to downstairs 

‘Maybe He's hungry so He's doesn't want to say too much’ That's what Hailey thought as She shrugged Her shoulders

“We're here”

“Sorry , I didn't hear Zander from up there .. I'm l-listening to a song with my headphones at max volume” She said, sounded nervous then turn Her head to Zander , Zander seemed to understand what Hailey mean then,

“She is, no matter what song She played that She really liked it and cranked up the volume to the max” Zander pretended to sigh, so that Their parents would believe Them

° | They then sit down and having dinner ..

『 Zander's POV 』

“Soo .. How was school? And can You explain why You came home late than usual?” The voice that was asking who else could it be if not My mom.

I'm not in the mood to explain, because earlier I had to lie to help Hailey. So it looks like She should speak up now, explaining the idiots' behavior , and for sure I'll listen to it

“Well, We were cleaning the music room after school earlier .. Because it was so messy, and the ones who messed up were Those idiots , Drew and His friends ,. ” Hailey explained with a sigh of annoyance

“But, They didn't hurt You guys, right?” My stepfather started to ask.

“Mhmm , They didn't ..” Hailey answered

‘Not hurting us, but trying to destroy our sanity’ I thought , rolling My eyes

And after that small and brief conversation there was silence , well, it seems like this is normal ..

I continue eating instead of thinking, I might be late finishing eating .

(Back to) - 『 Hailey's POV 』 - After eating

We've all finished eating (if you guys are looking for Bethany .. She already ate first , She can't wait for Hailey to come down—)

We put our plates in the sink and headed to Our respective rooms

I climbed to My bed , then sitting for awhile .

Then I heard Someone knocked ,

“Hm? Come in ..?”

Oh it's Zander ,

“Oh hey Zander ..” I say , looked away .

“I'm here to ask You something ..”
