Chapter 2: Planning

Derek was training. He was ready to attack Mars, but his master told him not too. He stopped his training to go out.

He headed out towards Arc city. No one knew he left the hideout. He had his weapon on his back as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop.

"I see you finally came out of hiding."

"Tsk....I wasn't hiding. I was training, unlike you."

"What are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to see the town."

"I see."

"How you been?"

"Fine."

Derek smirked.

"You still hiding behind those girls?"

"Are you still hiding behind him."

"Who are you talking about?"

"The person who actually wanted me dead. The person who was actually scared of my power."

"So you know he's alive and well?"

"His power is in you."

"You know why he wanted you dead?"

"Because I'm like my mother. The beast in side me is connect to me. It was connect to my mother."

"He wants the beast power."

"I know. He missed one thing."

"What?"

"People thought I died, but I really didn't."

Derek was shocked.

"Explain."

"No. I have to go."

Mars disappeared. Derek stood there.

"How long you been there?"

"Long enough to tell you, you are going to lose this war."

The mystery person left, but left a black feather, that disappeared when it hit the ground.

Kevin was in Otto's office.

"How is he doing?"

"Great."

"How is the new battle suit?"

"Great."

Otto looked at Kevin.

"The rouge Herrscher is starting a war."

"I know."

"Does Mars have a plan?"

"He does."

"Good. I would hate to see my greatest creation lose."

Kevin rolled his eyes.

"You and me both know the truth."

"I know."

"Do you think he will kill him?"

Otto thought for a moment.

"Yes."

"Why do you think that?"

"Even though Mars is fun and loving to people, he doesn't takes betrayal easily."

Kevin agreed with Otto, but he thought of something.

"Mars wanted to kill you."

"I know. But he fully took control of his Herrscher form. Plus deep down he didn't want too."

"Why?"

"Because I gave him a second chance in life. Another chance to be with his sister. Another chance to be with his boyfriend."

Kevin didn't respond. They heard someone at the door.

The two males smiled at the male.

"Welcome home Mars." Otto said

"Umm...thanks...."

Otto chuckled.

"What brings you here?" Kevin asked

"I saw Derek."

The two males looked at each other.

"How was that?"

"Derek has some of his power."

Both of them was shocked.

"Can you still stop him?"

"Yeah. I'm not worried about Derek. I'm worried about him and his power."

"You shouldn't be worried."

"I should be, because my sister has some of it. It's just dormant."

They were shocked.

"I will look into his power." Otto said

"Okay. His name is Joseph."

Otto nodded.

"I'm going back to my hideout and taking a nap."

Kevin laughed.

"I take you there."

Mars nodded.

She sitting on a rooftop. Her sniper in her lap. She was thinking about the boy giving her another chance in life.

"What are you doing up here?"

She turned her head and saw the boy. He sat next to her.

"I was just thinking."

"About what?"

"His second chance in life. Why did you pick me? You know what I did. You know what happened to me."

"You have potential. I can teach you how to control it."

"But I'm a Dark Herrscher. I have to serve you and die at some point."

"You are not going to die."

She looked at him. She felt like he was telling the truth.

"You can change the will of a Dark Herrscher?"

"Yes."

"So what is my will?"

"Once this war is over, you go back to school and lead your squad."

She smiled.

"What are you going do after the war?"

"Probably be in stasis, until they need me?"

The girl was confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm probably going be sleep for a long time. Until the wake me up for help."

She hugged the boy.

"I don't want that to happen."

The boy laughed.

"It's okay."

"No it's not. You are a good person. Our lives are going be different when you are gone."

"No it won't."

"Yes. It will."

He laughed.

"If you say so."

"Can you train me?"

The male Herrscher nodded.

"When can me start?"

"Tomorrow."

"Thank you!"
