"Mars."

The boy looked up and saw his boyfriend.

"Kevin was are you here?"

"I wanted to make sure you are okay."

The boy went back to look at his mother's grave.

"I remember everything from that day."

Kevin kneeled next to the boy.

"You never told me about that day."

"I know. I lied about that day."

"Your father didn't kill you?"

"No, did. He wasn't the first attempt."

Kevin was shocked.

"Who tried to kill you the first time?"

"Scarlet."

"What?"

"She had my father's dark power. It corrupted her."

"Don't you have it?"

"I do. I know how to control it."

"How do you know to control?"

"I made it an evil counterpart."

Kevin looked at Mars wide eyed.

"That's what Seele saw?"

"Yeah. I turned into my evil counterpart."

"Why?"

Mars gulped.

"I was forced to fight."

"But you nearly killed her."

"I know."

Kevin hugged the boy.

"It's okay. You are still learning how to control it."

"Huodou is helping me."

"That's good."

The boy rested his head on the older male's shoulder.

"The Evil counterpart is my Dark Herrscher form. We are one."

"We are here to help control your power."

"I know. Fu Hua been helping a lot."

Kevin kissed the boy's cheek.

"I know you are strong enough to bet to be Derek."

"I know, but you should know something."

"What?"

Mars was quiet.

"Derek had a crush on me when we were younger."

Kevin smirked.

"But I have you now."

Mars laughed.

"You do."

"Rita and Durandal have you too." Kevin said quietly

"You have me the most."

Kevin chuckled.

"I think we should get back to the hideout."

"Okay."

They both got up.

"Can we walk for a bit? Before we go back."

"Yeah."

The began to walk towards the exit of the cemetery.
