Rhodes Island on Remnant{Arknights x RWBY Crossover}Cancelled

Chapter 2

*A few Days Later*

It's been a few days since Rhodes Island had moved onto Beacon Acadamy's campus grounds and several of the students were shocked and surprised by Rhodes Island's appearance at the Academy but after Ozpin calmed everyone down and told them the situation is being handled everyone calmed down and relaxed. Currently though 3 people from Penguin Logistics were walking through the campus towards Ozpin's office. The people walking to the were Shockvolt, Texas, and the boss of Penguin Logistics Emperor. They were getting a lot of strange looks especially Emperor but they just ignored them as they walked.

(Emperor) 

"So you know what the Headmaster wants with us Boss?" Shockvolt asked him and he sighed. "Apparently he has a job for us." Emperor replied and Shockvolt raised an eyebrow as Texas just munched on her chocolate sticks. Shockvolt nodded as they walked. "Do you know the details?" Texas asked and he shook his head. "Not yet. He said he'll give us the run down when we get there." Emperor explained and she nodded. As they were walking though Shockvolt noticed a guy bullying a brown haired rabbit eared girl. He recognized her as Velvet Scarlatina a member of team CFVY and was apart of the investigation team that went to investigate Rhodes Island's appearance in the nearby forest. "Boss?" Shockvolt said as he stopped walking while looking at Velvet. Texas and Emperor stopped and looked at him then where he was looking and Emperor sighed and held up his flipper. "Just be quick Shockvolt." Emperor said and Shockvolt smirked and nodded as he walked over while turning on his electric field generator. "You're such a freak!" The brawny guy said to Velvet as he reached out for Velvet's ears but his hand was knocked away by Shockvolt.

"Why don't you guys pick on someone your own size?" He said to them with his arms crossed across his chest and putting himself in between them and Velvet. The brawny guy who Shockvolt guessed was the leader glared at him. "What's it to you? Besides you're an even bigger freak then she is!" He said glaring at Shockvolt as his cronies laughed behind him. Shockvolt just rolled his eyes. "I'd rather not kick your buts since your kids but I will if I have too!" Shockvolt told them. After all Shockvolt was close to his mid 20s but kept the actual number to himself and only those he knew he could trust, of course his real name was the same as only a few people knew his name. The four students tried to intimidate Shockvolt but with is his time in the L.G.D and Penguin Logistics he wasn't really phased by a 17 year old kid who pretends to be a tough guy.

They finally just left and Shockvolt turned off the electric field generator attacked to his belt. Velvet looked at him. "T-Thanks for that, but why did you help me Shockvolt?" She asked him and he smiled. "Simple, I never cared for bullies." He said smiling at her and she smiled and nodded. "I see. Thank you." She said thanking him again and he smiled and nodded. "No problem. Anyway I got to get going." Shockvolt said before saying goodbye and walking back over to Emperor and Texas and then the three of them headed to Ozpin's office. They get to the elevator and they enter it and head up to his office. Once their Ozpin told them to come in so they entered his office. Shockvolt looked around and smiled. "This sure is a fancy office." Shockvolt said as he looked around. The 3 of them walked towards Ozpin who was at his desk and standing to the side was Professor Glynda Goodwitch. "Thank you for coming." Ozpin said and they nodded. "Don't mention it, Just tell me what kind of job you have for us!" Emperor said as he sat down in a chair in front of Ozpin's desk. 

"I would like for your team to head to Vale Central Hospital and pick up a crate of blood samples and deliver them to Rhodes Island for me." Ozpin explained and Shockvolt raised an eyebrow. "Is this about that disease that is spreading in this world?" Shockvolt asked and Ozpin nodded. "Yes. Doctor had said he wanted to study some blood samples from people who were infected with the disease and compare it to Oripathy." Ozpin explained and they nodded. "I see. So this is pick up and delivery job. Well I have no problem with doing the job but first we'll need to discuss payment." Emperor said and Ozpin sat up. "Very well, how does 100,000 Lien sound?" Ozpin asked. "Lien? Oh that's what you guys call money here huh?" Emperor said before rubbing his beak and thinking. "To tell the truth I don't really know how comparable that would be to money from Lungmen." Emperor said and Ozpin smiled. "No worries. When we were touring your Rhodes Island we met Closure and from what was explained to us by Amiya it would seem that 100 Lien would be equivalent to 50 L.M.D." Ozpin explained and they nod. "I see, well then in that case we'll take the job." Emperor said as he got out of his seat. Ozpin smiled and nodded. "Thank you. I'll let the hospital know you're on your way." Ozpin said as the three of them started to leave. "Don't mention it." Emperor said as they left his office.
