Tsukishima looked at the blushing girl in front of him. He looked down at the ground and released a sigh, he fixed his glasses and looked back up. "Sorry, but I can't accept your feelings." He stated with ease.
He then turned on his heel and walked off, leaving the girl in tears, even though she expected this to happen. Tsukishima turned the corner and spotted Yamaguchi sitting against the wall with a very worried expression.
"Yams?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Ah! T-Tsukki! Sorry, I didn't mean to pry..." Yamaguchi quickly said and Tsukishima just shrugged. The green head watched his tall blond friend begin to make his way home.
Yamaguchi followed him as he usually did, however he still couldn't get rid of the concern he had for Hinata whom was already long gone. I wonder if Hinata is ok...? He asked himself.
"Why do you look so concerned?" Tsukishima asked looking at Yamaguchi from the corner of his eye.
Yamaguchi looked at Tsukishima and looked down at the ground. "W-Well... H-Hinata saw the girl confessing to you..." Yamaguchi paused and Tsukishima chuckled.
"Is that all you're worried about?" The taller male asked.
Yamaguchi quickly shook his head. "No, he... he suddenly ran off, he started coughing like he was ready to vomit his insides..." he explained.
"Huh? He's probably over doing it; I don't see why you should be worrying about him." Tsukishima sighed.
"Because he's my teammate and friend," Yamaguchi spoke up and Tsukishima looked at the slightly angered green head, "why can't you just show some kindness to Hinata, Tsukki?"
A moment of silence passed them as a cold breeze brushed against their skin.
Tsukishima turned around and 'tsk'ed. "I don't care..." he muttered and hurriedly turned and went up the hill towards his street to his home, leaving Yamaguchi behind who then later proceeded to walk home by himself.
It's always about that damn midget... I'm allowed to do that, what gives them a right to tell me otherwise? Tsukishima opened the door to his house and took off his shoes, replacing them with slippers.
I don't have to always get along with everyone, nor do I have to be nice to them too. Tsukishima opened the door to his room and closed it behind him. He put his bag beside his desk and collapsed on his bed.

Yamaguchi walked into the gym after changing in the club change room. The sound of the ball hitting the ground, the squeaking of their shoes and the satisfying sound of the ball being hit echoed.
His eyes settled on Hinata who landed, letting out a cheer with Kageyama. Hinata grinned and was about to get another ball when he spotted Yamaguchi looking at him.
"Morning Yamaguchi!" He grinned.
The green head looked at Hinata, recalling the events from yesterday. He forced a small smile, "morning Hinata! Kageyama!" He said and joined the two on the court.
After some time of practicing to themselves the rest of the team arrived, and they started their warmup. Hinata sat down on the cold, hard floor and let out a sigh after getting his fill of water. Yamaguchi took this chance and approached the small teen, leaving Tsukishima in slight confusion and curiosity.
"Hey Hinata." Yamaguchi smiled taking his seat beside the ginger head.
Hinata wiped the sweat on his forehead with his towel and smiled at the green head beside him. "Hey Yamaguchi!" He said placing his bottle and towel down.
