Nina's P.O.V"God, leave me alone!"
I slam my door shut and quickly slide on headphones, blasting music into my ears. Even with my music at max, I can still hear my mother screaming and banging at my door. After my dad died, she has been going through a rough patch. To cope with her problems she just, drinks. Some days, I'll come home to her doing something insane, but it never stops there. As the evening bleeds into night, the things she does gets worse and worse.
Usually, she'll end up hitting me out of grief. It wasn't ever hard, but it was repeated. Here I was. I sat on my coral colored bed spread, in my short, lace, black skirt and a black tank top. I could feel my frustration with my mother rising. I glared at the clock, 7:16, I looked to the door, clock, door, clock-
The wood fell into pieces on my floor. The door had a hole in it. I looked directly at my mother, eyes big, jaw wide open, she looked insane. The hole she had made framed her frightened face perfectly. I saw her back away and look down. She was ashamed. Just as I looked down to my hands, decorated in baby blue nail polish, she ran up to the solid white door with immense speed, bottle in hand, and kicked it off it's hinges.
It slammed to the ground, dust flew around through the room like stars revolving in space, I watched it in slow-mo it seemed, the door came toppling down on me.
