We are all sinners and because of His sacrifice, we are saved and have eternal life.
Ephesians 1:7
Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven. Christ did this because God was so kind to us. God has great wisdom and understanding (CEV)
We deserve to die and go to hell because of our sins, but in God's love for the world He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
Galatians 1:4
Christ obeyed God our Father and gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins to rescue us from this evil world. (CEV)
