The smell of sweat flows through the air from
the guys in the back of the class room.
Mr. Steves was talking about the next project his voice fills the room , echoing off the walls in the classroom
"Okay students please get your- " Mr. Steves stops talking. The door to the classroom opens everyone's heads turn, The room quickly got cold as she walked in
"Uhh... is this Mr.steves room?"
"Yes it is- " he said as he looked the student up and down- "are you the new student?"
"Yeah I am, I'm Julie Gwent"
"Miss. Gwent you are 47 minutes late to class. Please be here on time tomorrow. You can sit next to Oliver, the one in the red hoodie."
"Yes sir, I'm very sorry.."
Julies eyes locked with Oliver as she walked over to to him. Her eyes were warm and inviting. Oliver gave a small smile to reassure her. She pulls out her chair and sits down everyone's eyes went back to the teacher
"As I was saying - Everyone please pay attention. For the next project You will have to do a history project. I will be picking your partner's . Speaking of...Since Miss. Gwent is new , Oliver will be her partner. Isn't that right?"
Oliver Thought for a second but quickly blurted - "Oh yes sir of course " he said as he turned his head to Julie.
"Great. I'll pick the rest of your partners later . Oliver & julie you have a head start for this project. I don't want the new student to get an F."
Juile looked at the teacher, then looked back at Oliver. She raised her eyebrows towards oliver. Julie then gave a slight smile , oliver noticed she was smiling and then smiled back at her.
The bell finally rang, everyone got out of their seat and headed for the door to be the first in line for lunch . Oliver had gotten out of his seat and asked julie-
"Hey, Julie do you maybe wanna have lunch with me?"
The room went quiet. Juile thought for a second.
"Actually yeah that would be nice, thank you oliver"
"Well c'mon then, we wanna get there before other kids do "
Juile backs up her chair up, gathering her things. And walks to Oliver waiting for him to lead the way to lunch
The walk to the cafeteria was pretty silent
But oliver decided to break it.
"Soo, Julie where are you from?'
"Oh, I'm from Rome."
' that's so cool. I've hear it's really pretty there"
" Yeah it really is. I'll have to show you some pictures while we do the project later"
"What if we do the project on Rome?"
" That would be cool, I know a ton of things about rome"
"Well great I'll ask Mr. Steve if we can do Rome then"
"Okay."
"Well here's the lunch room and heres where you get the food."
"Whats on the menu today?"
"Sloppy joes I think"
"Ah, okay. thank you. "
"But be careful the last kid that got food posining "
"Oh no , maybe I won't have those..."
"Yeah probably for the best. You can have my cold lunch"
"Really??"
"Yeah of course! Let's go find a table "
* Time skip bc I'm lazy (After school)*
"So Julie do you want to go back to my house or do you want you need to go to yours?"
" let's go to yours my house really isn't furnished yet"
" okay that sounds great"
* At olivers house *
"Jammiieeee, I'm homeeee"
"HI sweetie! How was school- Oh you brought a friend how nice! What's your name hun?"
"Hello miss! I'm Julie, it's nice to meet you" she flashes a quick smile
"Aw well welcome and hello! Make yourself comfortable. Would you like a snack or water?"
"Oh no thank you ma'am. We have a big project to do and we should really get started."
"Oh yes of course, well if you need anything just ask"
"Okay thank you"
"Well then we're.. uh.. we're gonna head to my room now, follow me Julie, I'll show you."
Oliver and Julie went up to his room and started working on their Rome project for about 2 hours
"hey oliver, where is your bathroom?"
"Down the hall to the right."
"Okay, thanks I'll be right back"
* Julie heads to the bathroom *
In olivrs head : " she's Been gone for 30 minutes what is she even doing? I'm gonna check on her. "
*oliver walks to the bathroom and knocks on the door*
"Knock knock, Juile are you okay? You've been gone for like 35 minutes"....."Julie?...you in there?"
Oliver waited for a response from Julie, but there was nothing. No response. Oliver opens the door too only his surprise, Juile is not even in the bathroom at all. However he did notice the window open..
