The week after turned to months. Months turned to years. Jay had finally joined Henry in the corporate office, where he was given equal shares by Kayla. He finally has proven his capability and was able to manage the Accounts for the company. It was an ordinary day passing through HR, and I saw 'Jane Stoner' on one of the application lists. He spoke to HR that he wanted to meet Jane in person after the interview.

The moment finally arrives. It has been three years since Jay last saw Jane. He went on a few Tinder dates after that, but none could make him forget Jane.

"Mr. Johnson, Miss Jane Stoner is here to see you," says Darla, his secretary through the intercom.

"Let her in," Jay had a bouquet of flowers next to him, just in case it was the Jane Stoner he was looking for.

The door opened, and a petite woman entered the room. Jay could not believe his eyes. This is the same woman in Jane's Tinder profile picture. How could it be that this woman actually exists? Jane is not actually Jane Stoner. This woman is the real Jane Stoner. Why did she lie? Who was the Jane that Jay meeting those nights?

"Do you drive a Hummer?" Jay blurted out.

"My husband does. I thought this was part of the interview?" Jane looked confused.

"And how long were you married?" Jay ask.

"Two years. I'm sorry, Mr. Johnson. Do these questions have anything to do with my interview for the Job?"

"I'm sorry. When I saw your name, I thought that we might have met some three years back," Jay tried to keep composed, but still, he had to find out the truth. "Do you know anyone who would use your picture on dating sites for their own benefit? Maybe a brunette?"

"You must be talking about Jean, my cousin" she moved her gaze to the floor.

"Do you have a picture of Jean?" Jay asks.

Jane took out her phone and showed a picture of Jean with a baby. This was the woman Jay was looking for all this while. She was the Jane Stoner that he fell in love with.

"Did she have a child?" he asks.

"No, that's my baby girl Jasmine," Jane said.

"I actually met her somewhat three years ago. Where can I find her?" Jay was ecstatic. Jane took out a paper and wrote a home address on it before she handed it to Jay. Jay thanked Jane and walked her to the elevator. He immediately called for a car to bring him to Jean.

Holding the roses tightly while his heart pounding like a horse at the finish line. The car came to a stop in front of a wooden house by the river. Jay knocked on the door, but there was no answer. He walked towards the rusty wooden plank deck. A white dress was folded neatly next to a brown towel at the edge. From a distance, he could see a familiar figure swimming towards the deck. As she came closer. He could see that it was Jean. She got on the deck and began to dry herself. Jay remembers every inch of her body and how it felt against his. She put on her dress and turned.

"Could you please zip me, Mr.Tinderella," her voice struck a nerve that went directly to his lions.

"These flowers are for you. I'm sorry if I scared you off three years back." Jay said.

"No, you got it all wrong. You did not scare me back then. Maybe now, but that was not the reason..."

"For you to disappear?" Jay continued.

Jean sat by the deck, and Jay followed. Jane began to tell the whole story that lead her to the bar that night. She had just found out that her fiancée was cheating on her with her cousin Jane. Jean took one of Jane's pictures in anger and despair and created a Tinder account, pretending to be Jane. That was why she only met Jay in the dark. She was going to continue to tarnish Jane's name until Gary found out about it. It was the same Saturday when Jay last text her that Gary broke up the engagement. She was devastated, and the text that Jay sent was the only thing that could calm her down. She didn't think when she did all that. But she never regrated every moment of it. "Jay, what we had has helped me through the dark days."

"Why didn't you look for me back then? I was in that bar for two years after. Hoping that one day you would show up again."

"Come with me," Jean got up and pulled Jay's hand as she walks towards the house.

They walked through the living room towards a bedroom. Jean had her hand on the doorknob. "I need to show you something; it's not what you have in mind."

She slowly opened the door and on the bed was a man attached to a ventilator. Jay backed up a step. He wasn't expecting to see a ventilated person in the room.

"Don't be scared. Meet my dad, Keagan Stoner."

"Keagan Stoner? Did he work for my dad?" Jay asks.

"Yes, he did. He was driving the car that night the accident happened," Jean said.

They had just come back from Mr. Hastings Law Firm. John made an amendment to his Will. Jean's dad was the only witness on the finalized papers. He knew the details of the Will and had a copy of the Will kept in the garage. He was instructed not to release the Will until you are in the company.

"He didn't get this from the accident then?" Jay asks.

"No. Dad was beaten up when some man came to look for the Will," Jean said.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

"This happened after the funeral; your mother Kayla came to visit and offer to pay for the treatment. Never knew why she did what she did. Dad was only close to Mr.Johnson. Dad never liked her at all. This was the reason I didn't come back to the bar."

"I did not have anything to do with this," Jay insisted.

"I know. But when you told me your name. It reminded me of the night when I had to drag my dad from the mud into my car and drove to the hospital. Kayla even told us to stay away from the family if I want to keep my dad alive." Tears began to slip down her cheeks. Jay wiped it with his thumb and held her cheeks in his palm.

"I felt your sadness on the first day we met. I felt the sadness again today. I will make things right for you." Jay said and kissed her warm puffy lips.

"I will make things right for you too. Wait here," Jean said as she disappears out the door. Jay went towards Keagan and held his hands. He remembered Keagan well enough. His dad would sometimes send Keagan to fetch him from the airport when Jay comes back home. He was an ordinary guy living everyday life. Jay never knew why Keagan left. He thought that Keagan blames himself for the accident that took Jay's dad's life.

Jean came back with a white box that looked familiar. I was one of Louise's jewelry boxes. "Where did you get that?"

"Dad told me to give it to you one day if he couldn't."

This might be the box for the key that he kept all these years. Jay pulled the chain off and took the key to unlock the box. From the click sound, he knew that it was the right key. He lifted the lid and saw the Will from his mother. She had written it all. All of the properties that used to be hers were handed over to Jay once he turned 21. That would be everything except the Company that John Johnson, his dad, built. She even stated that she had set up a trust fund for Jay and 2 billion dollars savings in an offshore account under Jay's name. There were papers and instructions specifically for Jay to claim what is rightfully his.

"Do you trust me?" Jay asks Jean with piercing eyes.

"I do," Jean answered in a heartbeat.

They immediately call an ambulance to transfer Keagan to Holster Medical Center, where he will be nursed and guarded until Jay and Jean came back. Jay bought a flight ticket for two on their way to the airport. They weren't prepared for the trip, but they had each other. Three nights from three years ago, they were complete strangers who made a connection. It was an unlikely event that fate has set up to bring them together. Now they will claim what rightfully theirs.
