We Saved Lives

We did our best, until we Both rest.

He is a doctor,I am a nurse. We’re both front liners.

He is a very hard working man. He’s too funny. He jokes, we laugh. When he smile, its like our world stop for a seconds. He’s too handsome and nice. When it comes to his patients, he will do everything just to treat and help that patient feel better.His hair is always messy but it does suits him. I can’t explain what he is, its like God made him perfectly. And oh, he’s my very longtime crush.

I already knew him since high school. He has a lot of admirers, and I am one of them. Being a doctor is what he really wanted to be. And look at him now, he’s a very professional doctor at the age of 27, and yet he still doesn’t have a girlfriend nor wife at all. He focus on his work, and on his patients.

He’s my friend but not that close one. I am limiting myself not to get too attached from him, because I really am falling deeply to this man whom I know I have no chance to be with. You know, he’s that man that every girl wished for. And he deserve a better  person.

“Back on earth Maria!’ I was shocked when someone flicked my forehead.

“h-huh? Yes?” I asked Nori, my workmate and best friend at the same time.

“Doc. Suarez is looking for you. W-wait!? are you okay? A-are you s-sick? OMG Maria m-maybe you’re s-sick?! OH MY GOD!” she said hysterically.

“What happened?!why are you shouting Nori?!” Doc. Suarez asked  NORI. Gosh he’s really handsome, his future wife is lucky to have a man like him. (T0T)

“ Maria’s s-sick Doc!” I am shocked when Doc. Suarez came to me and carried me in a bridal style and bring me into his office clinic.

People have been looking at us for a long time until we reach his office. I also hear they what they said about us. Like “they’re a front liners but they’re not aware of social distancing tsk!” Gosh its embarrassing.

“uhm, Doc? Please put me down. I’m okay, I’m not sick at all” I said scratching the back of my head.

“Shut UP!” he said seriously so I just keep my mouth shut.

“good girl” he whispered.

I’m like a statue who’s comfortably lying down while looking at his face only a few inches far from my own.

“Stop looking at my face it wont melt tss” he said and I blushed and looked away. Gosh he caught me and its embarrassing.

“ open your mouth” I didn’t follow him so he look at me in the eye.

I can’t help but to blush when his puffy eyes met mine.

“open your mouth” he said again so I did what he told me to do.

“good girl” he whispered with a sly smile.

“your temperature is normal so that means you’re also okay” he said then sigh.

“I thought you’re really sick tss. You made me feel nervous.” he added and messed up his hair.  

Pft, he’s so cute, my baby Keith is so cute aigo.

“You can go now” he said, so I immediately thank him and made my way out of his office.

When I saw Nori, I immediately pinch her cheeks. This girl tss, she’s so OA. Because of her Doc. Suarez felt nervous because of her nonsense.

“Aww,” she said then pout.
