The house is the sweet outer shell.  The air inside is sweet and inviting.  The whole family displayed throughout the house.

Pictures, upon pictures,

smiles upon smiles.
The smiles are almost too good to be true. The whole family has their own sugary coating, makes the person want to taste more. The house is big and filled the with the memories of a short lived joy.

The memories are the sugar crash of her mind. The sweeter it is, the harder the crash. The center is bitter and spoiled. The sugary coating innocently fades away as it melts in the mouth. As it melts, the sugary coating turns into sour. The sweet shell falls apart slowly to reveal the fake facade of the family's sweetness. Just spit it out, is what they always say. But they don't know about the after taste
