Love in an insane year-2020

Chapter 6

 I just ran to the place where we were shooting. As i entered, i saw the person i did not want to see Priya. When she saw me she was angry , i don't why.  i was walking past by her because i had to setup my equipment. but she had to stop me. 

Priya: where do you think you are going?

Shreeja : Can you excuse me i have some important work right now.(when i don't get my morning coffee I'm a totally different person.. literally any small thing can piss me off. today was one such day i literally did not have any caffeine or food in my body and that's why i did not want to indulge in any conversation with her. )

Priya: oh hello. that's not how you talk to someone who you are literally working under. bloody photographer

Shreeja: look i m running late right now i seriously have no time for this, and...(she cut me off).

Priya : exactly my point why are you late? do you think everyone here is free, we don't have work ? you might have free time but we don't they also have practice. and anyways you get paid for this don't you? so where is your work ethics? that's why people should not hire freshers.(she kept going on and i was frustrated )

Shreeja: Stop will you!!, listen firstly i know I'm late, you don't need to tell me that, secondly i don't work under you i work for RCB team, so i don't need to answer you, and thirdly You are now wasting the players time. so please i request you to get out of my way and let me do my work .(saying this i just walk past her, yes i can be rude sometimes when i don't get my coffee.)

I reached on set, and i apologized to the team, they where very sweet about it because still few players had not arrived yet. AB, Virat bhai, yuzi bhai and devdutt were yet to arrive. i set my equipment till then all of them arrived and wished everyone i was very concentrated on setting everything that i did not acknowledge them. Someone tapped on my shoulder, thats when i turned around to see who it was. as i turned i saw Virat Bhai and AB 

Both: hey kid good morning!! 

Sheeraj: Good morning (i tried my best to sound as cheerful as possible.)

Virat: You good?

Shreeja: yes bhai, what will happen to me i m fine.

AB: are you sure? you sound different

Shreeja: Ohh that! i haven't had my coffee maybe that's why, don't worry about me guys i m fine. You guys get ready then we will start the photoshoot, then you guys also have practice.

Virat: okay (still not satisfied but decided to let it go)

The shoot went for hours, some guys left for lunch, i was super hungry as i missed my breakfast, but i still had to shoot for maybe an hour or so. i just drank some water and kept on working. The shoot ended at 3:30 and everyone had to be near the bus stop at 4:00 so that the practice session can start at 4:30. I still didn't get a chance to eat anything, packing up everything took 15 mins I ordered a cold coffee for on the go and grabbed an energy bar from the snack table.  as the coffee came i ran to my room to keep extra equipment that I did not need and change my t-shirt cuz I was sweaty. then i ran to the hotel lobby, got inside the bus and took my seat, wore my headphones and closed my eyes listening to music my favorite thing to do.

By the time we reached, i finished my coffee and the energy bar, i was feeling a bit better because i knew that the caffeine and sugar rush will take over my tiredness for at least a few hours. i know that's not healthy but it will have to do for now. 

Third Person P.O.V:

The practice was going good, but one challenge that everyone was facing was the humidity and heat of UAE. 2 hours into the practice session Shreeja was all around the ground capturing the moments when she started to feel lightheaded she tapped Akash's (another one of the photographers) to take over for a while. She came and sat in the shade, her hands where shaky she could not even lift the water bottle properly which resulted in the bottle falling and catching a few people's attention. 

"Hey you good?" said AB, who noticed her. she just put her head down on the table and didn't rply.  "Shree!" everyone gasped.

Author's NOTE

hey guys i don't generally write author's note, but i felt that i need to explain my absence on the site .i.e. i have not uploaded a chapter in a while. Its just that the school has been difficult lately, and also the virus scare. i won't go into detail. but in short past few weeks were tiring and i couldn't write anything. but i m back... well kind of...i m not promising of posting regularly...but i will try to post at least once a week and lastly i know its a very short chapter i will try to write the next one a bit longer. thank you for being patient, and keep supporting!!
