Kyoutani never came back to the volleyball club, but you did see him again. You'd caught sight of him leaving the school one Monday afternoon, and he also saw you; he turned around, and faced you properly, before walking over to you with a grim expression.

You expected him to demand a rematch, but instead he silently stuck his hand out to you. It was clear you'd now gained his respect, and he would listen to you, since you'd put up a good fight against him.

With a raised eyebrow, you'd shaken his hand, noting how you'd given him a massive blue and purple bruise from the other day on the left side of his face. And that was that; he now no longer was an asshole to you.

Oikawa somehow became even more talkative, after that incident, and suddenly brought up the notion of you coming to his house, on a late Wednesday evening when you were both waiting for his bus.

"What for?" you'd asked, wrinkling your nose in confusion.

"Because!" Oikawa exclaimed, bouncing up and down in his seat. "I want to show you all my cool alien stuff!"

"Oh my god," you groaned, rubbing your temple, as a headache made an unneeded appearance. "I'm not going round just to hear you babble about extra terrestrials, you idiot. I have violin to practice."

"Oh, that's right!" he held up a finger, his eyes alight with excitement at your words, "You could perform a piece for me! I've never heard you play before!"

"Over my dead fucking body, you bastard!" you yelled, tensing up.

When his face contorted into one of disappointment, and he curled into himself, you felt a slight pang of guilt. You inhaled deeply, and focused your breathing, trying to copy what you'd seen on the internet, to calm yourself down. Once you'd got a hold of yourself, you forcibly stomached your annoyance, and turned to the sulking boy hesitantly.

"I'll come round," you muttered in defeat. "But only on Monday after school for about an hour, because that way you won't try practice your fucking serves again, you hear me?"

Oikawa beamed, and it was as if the sun had come out; "But of course, (Y/n)-chan!"

"Quit it with the first name bullshit!"

And so, you found yourself being dragged to Oikawa's house, on a warm afternoon; the sun was obscured by a few clouds, but other than that, the weather was gorgeous. Each little thing seemed to be brighter, covered with the glow of Spring turning into Summer, as the winds of late May drifted down the streets, scattered leaves from trees far and wide, causing your feet to create a crunching sound every time they hit the pavement.

"It's such a lovely day!" Oikawa exclaimed, taking off his white blazer, and tying it around his waist. "We should have dinner outside!"

"I'm not staying for dinner," you replied shortly, eyes glued to the scenery around you.

"My mother might object to that," he looked back at you, and winked playfully.

You scowled; over time, Oikawa, and everyone else for that matter, had noticed that he'd gained a large amount of fans. Of course, he'd been crushed on by many as a first year, but now he was a bit more older, the flood of new students acted as crying stans, wanting to know his every move.

This only boosted his ego, and Oikawa now proclaimed that he was in fact a celebrity, and that he had a large fanbase.

(You, Iwaizumi, Matuskawa, Hanamaki and Himari were not amused.)

Though, this had also had some other side effects; Oikawa somehow discovered his inner, charming, flirtatious nature, and it was showing more and more nowadays.
