Edd smiled again and released his final anxious sigh, the brit is really thankful that Tom's not angry or upset for his actions on the past but leaving that all behind. He's just content for them to be protected with this army he assembled
And thanks for Benedeth for letting him join her army
Edd hugged the brunet again
"I wish Matt was here"
He let go and chuckled along with Tom
"maybe you're trying to find Benedeth am I right? if so, go to the left not in the right"
"I'll make sure to take a note of that"
Tom laughed and took a last smile with Edd before turning his back on him
"I'll wait for you so we can talk again like the good old time!"
Tom glanced at his back seeing Edd with a thumbs up. The brunet returned the gesture by copying his moves
"looking forward for that"
Tom sighed, he combed his hair in order for him to remain calm
So many events happened and Tom couldn't comprehend but the main issue he's dealing with couple of days is Red leader but he ain't to worried about that
Blue leader's office
"Blue, are you there? I'm ready to talk"
"oh! Tom! Come in"
Benedeth yelled, Tom twisted the knob and cautiosly entered peeking from the frame

"ok umm, I prepared some questions for you to answer, I needed you to answer it truthly. I will know whether you're lying or not
"pfftt, why would I be lying for?"
Benedeth answered with an raise of her eyebrow, Tom mumbled and looked at the leader who's writing again
"question number 1-"
"what is this? Some kind of preschool test?"
the brunet is now bored at the time, the brunette laughed and shaked her head
"I'm trying my best ok?"
She cleared her throat and restarted her sentence, Tom slumped back from his chair finding a comfy spot for him to rest

"thanks for coming by Tom, you're finished for today, you can leave if you want but if you had any questions. don't be afraid to ask, this session is complete for now"
"I have to take sessions??"
Tom asked confusely and Benedeth snickered, she put a hand on his shoulder and patted it
"I'm afraid you're right but it's healthy for you to get some negative emotions out, if that's allright"
The brunet sighed and stretched with all his might and released a groan when he an satisfying crack was heard. They stood up and walked outside the office
"I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfy but you need it, I always noticed your carrying weight from your thoughts and I'm here to help, let it all out and I'm here to listen. don't worry we're here to guide you"
They stopped at the end of the hallway and Tom felt like he needed a breather everytime he'll get some 'therapy' from the Blue leader
"it's nice hearing some words from you Tom, I'll meet you in Sunday ok?"
Tom nodded and smiled back
"thanks Benedeth, I really appreciated your help. I hope you can help me for whatever is wrong with me"
The brunette nodded while she perform a closed smile, she waved goodbye and closed the door
The questions were simple but it makes Tom's heart ache, all the memories from the past washed all over him like the water flows through a creek
Tom walked to the cafeteria, passing the four rooms and proceeding on a short hallway with a big sign
Cafeteria
"Tom! Over here!"
Tom heard Edd's voice, he looked at him as the brit waved for Tom to see. He jogged towards as he made his way to the empty seat beside the brit
"how was it?"
Edd slid down Tom's dinner, looking at him with his known smile
"I don't know.."
Tom ruffled his hair, the brit's face reflected against to the boy's digital glass
Edd scoffed
"you got some therapy from the blue leader right? you must be exhausted, your face says it"
Edd is worried about Tom he comes through hardships and abuse
"yeah, it's just talking and having conversations about me but that made me feel so tired and hungry"
Tom munched on his food
When was the last time he ate?...he can't remember, silence occurred on the two, no one spoke
"so Tom"
"hmmm?"
Tom mumbled while eating his food, Edd started wanted to make the silence go away,
"how you've been feeling? you know, this current situation"
Edd tried to think before he speak, Tom just shrugged. Not giving a single thought about it
"sleepy I guess.."
Tom said looking at his food trying to avoid eye contact to Edd, he'll sense his stress by looking to your eyes. Like he's digging you barin with those caring eyes
"oh.."
Edd whispered, his daze was locked on his food, why is it so awkward?
Edd knows that it's been a year since he saw Tom and Matt and he missed them but it was a while since they spoke, he left them. And felt guilty about it
"look Edd if you wanted to make conversations already go ahead, I'm too tired to speak so I'm sorry if I'm a bit cold from you, it's my habit back on the base"
"no no! It's fine, I get it since Tor- the red leader is serious in every small things. you've gone through so far right? I'm really glad you're safe, I will try my best to protect you two at all cost. even the people who lived all over the world, I will make sure we live without pain and suffering"
There he is again, muttering some nice sentences. He already forgave Edd but why does he needed to apologise? He escaped and left the two of them
.....
Tom got to admit it that it sounds wrong for the time being but Edd planned to rescue them, it's just for a long time for this to be successful
The brunet really hate this side of Edd, where the heck is the careless funny friend he had a long time ago?
