My TV Daughter and Real Life Daughter (Danielle Rose Russell)

Danielle and Y/N are dating. They tell Joseph Morgan (Y/N's dad), who finds it hilarious. Prompt by @JuliaAguiar064.

Danielle has just woken up, and, noticing Y/N is not in bed, went searching for her. She found Y/N in the kitchen, sipping some coffee. Danielle smiles, loving how Y/N is so at home in Danielle's apartment. 

"Good morning, darling," Danielle greets, placing a kiss on Y/N's check.

"Hi baby," Y/N replies, nervous for brunch with her father and Danielle. 

"I know you're nervous, baby, but it's going to be okay," Danielle promises.

"I know. I'm just scared. He's my dad, Dani, and I want him to accept us," Y/N sighs.

"He will. Your dad love you so much, Y/N/N. It's going to be alright," Danielle soothes.

"Okay. Let's get ready, then, or we'll be late for breakfast," Y/N nods. 

The pair get dressed and brush their teeth. Y/N choses some dark wash jeans and a simple black tank top while Danielle picks some high rise white pants and a light blue blouse. Y/N slips on some black low top Converse and Danielle chooses some white sandals. They start their walk to the restaurant. Y/N's heart beats quickly in her chest the entire time.

"Y/N! Danielle! Good to see you! Please, sit down," Joseph greets, hugging both his in real life daughter and his tv daughter.

They sit down, and begin looking at the menu. The waitress soon comes over and takes their orders. Y/N orders pancakes and eggs, Danielle orders eggs and French toast, and Joseph orders an omelet with a side of bacon. 

"So, uh, dad. Danielle and I need to tell you something," Y/N announces anxiously.

"What is it, Y/N/N?" Joseph asks.

"Danielle and I are dating. We have been for a while now. I love you, and you're such an amazing dad to me. I just hope you're okay with this," Y/N rambles. 

Joseph bursts out laughing. Danielle and Y/N look at each other, confused. The man stops laughing after a few minutes and smiles warmly at the two.

"Sorry. It's just.. my tv daughter dating my actual daughter. It's quite amusing, don't you think?" Joseph explains.

"Well, yeah. It is," Danielle agrees.

"So, you're okay with this? Me dating Danielle?" Y/N asks her father.

"Of course, baby. I love you so much, and I'm happy that you're dating Danielle. Danielle, you know I love you like my own, but if you hurt my baby girl, you better watch out," Joseph replies.

Danielle looks petrified. She knows not to mess with Joseph when it comes to his daughter. Now, it's Y/N's turn to burst out laughing at the terrified look on her girlfriend's face. 

"I'm just joking, Danielle. Well, kinda," Joseph chuckles. 

"I'd never hurt her. I promise," Danielle replies.

"Good," Joseph nods.

The waitress serves their food, and they dig in. Joseph notices Danielle take Y/N's hand, which causes him to smile. He knows Y/N and Danielle will last. They are perfect for each other, after all, and that thought makes him smile.
