Chapter 4

Just pretend that Sabine is Lady Shiva. Just go with it.

Damien's POV:

By the time I finished chasing Todd, he ended up with a stab wound. Father glared at me and scolded me while I just sat there and took it all in. 

After Todd got patched up, he glared at me and we all headed toward the zeta tubes. We took the zeta tubes to Paris, where unfortunately we have to see the harlot.

When we arrived in Paris, Drake wanted to see the Eiffel tower, Grayson wanted to go to all the shops, Jason wanted to get food, and Father wanted to see the girl, and I just wanted to leave.

"Alright she sai- Tim stop running around and Jason, stop whining!- anyway she said that she lives in the best bakery in Paris. I'm going to ask around." Father said.

I rolled my eyes and just looked around. I noticed that there were a lot of pictures of the hero's, mostly Ladybug. There was also a big statue of them as well. Father came back and said, "Alright so I got the directions, and it looks like it's only a thirty minute walk from here."

Todd groaned and I started following Father to the bakery.

*timeskip*

When we got to the bakery we were about to knock on the door but we all stopped when we heard the conversation inside.

~"So last night I was kidnapped."~

Father led us to the side of the house where there was a window where we could look inside. We could see her explaining everything that happened from the moment she was kidnapped till now. In the middle of it, The others just kept glancing at me and I scowled.

I took a good look at her parents. Her father was well built and very giant. He had big hands, brown hair, and green eyes. Her mother on the other hand was a sm- Holy shit.

I stared wide eyed at her mother. Her mother was just like how my mother had described to me. Lady Shiva. She looked so small and fiesty. But from the stories that mother had told me, I could tell that even mother was afraid of her.

I got the others attention and said, "Her mother is Lady Shiva." Todd, Grayson, and Drake turned and stared wide eyed at her mother while Father was confused. I then said, "She may be tiny, but even mother was afraid of her. She was one of the most ruthless assassins there ever was. She even killed mother."

I could tell that father was pretty terrified. Thats when I hear, ~"SABINE, WE FINALLY HAVE A SON-IN-LAW!"~ I was close to blushing, but I scowled and I could hear the snickering from the others. I growled and they stopped.

We all looked back through the window, and noticed that she had a scowl on her face and from what I could tell, she was also growling. Her father then asked her if he had something wrong, thats when she goes in full depth about how much she hated me.

~"I hate him. He's so stuck up and oh my god, he's infuriating. His face is always angry, and the only thing that comes out of his mouth are rude comments, like COME ON! He called me a harlot, and he said that I was like every other girl out there like what the fuck!"~ She just kept yelling after that.

I kept a straight face while the others including Father were trying to keep in their laughter but it didn't work. Once she was done yelling, Her mother come up to her and said something, that got my attention.

~"Mari, honey as much as I know you hate him, you're going to have to learn how to work with him, because from what I can tell from what you told me, Talia used liquid from the Lazarus pit to marry you both. That liquid's magic is very powerful, and impossible to break, so if what you said is true, there is no way out. Divorce won't work, and if one of you catch feeling for someone else or any of that sort, the Lazarus pit Magic in you can hurt you. There have been cases where, people have died from things like that. It all depends on how bad the situation is. Also you guys are going to be stuck with each other for the rest of your lives so you're going to have to learn how to work it out."

I could tell the others were looking at me but I couldn't look at them because I felt a sense of dread, because I knew Lady Shiva was right. As much as I hate to say it, we are going to have to make it work, and there is no way to break it.

She then started crying- ugh- and she then said something I never expected. ~"I can't believe this is happening to me. I'm so tired mom. I have to protect Paris, protect you guys, my friends, protect the Miraculous, fight Hawkmoth, make my fashion business bigger, dealing with betrayal from my old friends, and a liar, and I'm tired of being bullied for things I never did, and now I have to deal with a husband I don't even like for the rest of my life. I'm so tired."~

I frowned and thats when I knew I messed up. I had no idea that she had so many responsibilities. For the first time, I was actually wrong. I looked at Father, and Father looked back and gave me a small smile, I turned to my brothers and found out that they were looking at me. 

I looked back and forth between them and said, "Ugh, what do you want me to say, that I'm sorry?" Dick then said, "Lil' D, that girl has gone through so much. You called her a harlot and that she was like every other girl. Clearly she's not, she just has too many responsibilities that an 18 year old should never have."

I glanced back to the window and noticed that they were all hugging and then went to go eat breakfast. But the thing is, "Would she forgive me?"

Father then said, "Well there is only one way to find out right?" I didn't realize that I had said that out loud but before I could say anything, he made us all go over to the door and knocked.

I'm so screwed. 

Marinette's POV:

After we stood up to get breakfast, I was about to go help mom, when someone knocked on the door. 

"I'll get it!" I walked up to the door, and opened it to become face to face with the one and only Bruce Wayne.

This is just great.

I scowled at him, and noticed that the other bats and he was also there. I just glared at them and said, "What are you doing here?" Bruce then said, "Well you told us to find you if we wanted to talk, so thats why we're here."

I groaned and then I heard my mom yell out, "Marinette! Who's at the door!?" I then said, "Mom, I think it's best you come here!"

My mom came out of the kitchen with a smile on her face, but when she saw who was at the door, she growled.

I looked back to the Waynes, and noticed that they were all stiff, and looked pretty terrified, even Damien. My mom came up to them and said, "So it looks like you all want to talk right?" They all nodded, so my mom said, "Well then come inside, I'll make you guys breakfast as well, and some coffee. You can all sit down in the living room."

I noticed that they all visibly relaxed but I wan- OHHHHHH!- The recognize mom. Talia said that Damien used to be in the League, so she must have told him about my mom being Lady Shiva, and beating the shit out of her.

Hehehe...... This is going to be good.
