Natasha's POV

My heart and body yearned to just hold Y/N against me as she was crying, I was on FaceTime with her since I was miles and miles away from her. I was sent out on a mission with Bucky to watch the HYDRA base he had found. She was crying from a nightmare she had. I looked over at the clock and the time read 2:38.

"I'm still here and alive Y/N, it's okay." My eyebrows furrowed together in concern as another sob wracked her body.

"I-I need y-you." she barely got out the words before having trouble breathing. My worry grew more and my vision got blurry with my own tears. I got frustrated since I couldn't do anything to help her calm down besides trying to get her to breathe normally but it wasn't working.

The phone fell out of her hand onto the floor, I panicked when I couldn't hear her or see her anymore. I ended the call which was probably stupid of me, I ran to the quinjet after waking up Bucky, him following me outside away from the hotel. There was no activity from the HYDRA base so that's why he had no problem in leaving since we could just get an agent to watch until there was activity.

An hour or so later.

I ran into the tower to mine and Y/N'S shared room, I found her curled in a ball still crying. My heart hurt seeing her like this, I walked over to her and pulled her to my chest and ran my hand up and down her back. I told her to breath with me.

Breathe in, breathe out I had repeated over and over.

She calmed down after a while and I gave her kisses. She looked up at me her eyes puffy.

"I'm sorry for pulling you away from your mission." She said sadly as she put her head back on my chest.

"Don't be sorry, I'll do anything for you love." I replied, kissing the top her head.

She cuddled further into me her body relaxing more. I smiled down at her, how did I get so lucky to have you? I closed my eyes letting sleep take over.

I woke up to Y/N kissing me, I smiled into the kiss and she pulled back.

"Wanna take a shower with me?" She asked me and I nodded. She took my hand almost dragging me to the shower.

After the shower we went down to kitchen seeing Captain making breakfast.

"Care to make us breakfast too Cap?" I asked the super solider. He nodded his head and made more waffles.

Me and Y/N laid on the couch cuddling and watching a movie after breakfast. I'm glad that she pulled me out of the mission, it was boring and I really missed her.

Sorry this one is short I'll try to make the next one longer.
