Annabeth's POV
I am so nervous about going to camp half blood this year. It will be such a transition. My father does not know that I am going here. But the gods do. That's why I'm here, because the forces of darkness are out to get me and the only place that I am safe is here at camp half blood. You see the real danger or threat is Hades. He sends his demons to try to capture and kill all of the half bloods that are sensed by his connections.
There are many gods that exist. But the main three are the ones that hold a grudge with each other and it still stands to this day. They are all three brothers. Their father was the evil Titan Kronos. He was so evil he ate his own children. So the three brothers Zeus,Poseidon, and Hades fraught back and they shattered their father into a million different pieces and buried in the deepest depths of the universe. Now the big three are the rulers of the three main elements. Zeus is the God of the sky and has a the great master bolt. Poseidon is the God of the sea and all water. And Hades is the God of the underworld and the very symbol and meaning of death he is HELL.
The big three made an agreement. That if they were to come down to the mortal world and meet someone, a spouse if you will they would not have a child. Well long story short Zeus was first to disobey the pact that had been made between the brothers. He had a daughter named Talia. Then it was Poseidon he fell in love and had Xavier. And finally the one that you would think would have violated the pact first actually believe it or not still hasn't violated it to this day. SHOCKER!!!!!
