Chrono's POV:
As I entered the building, the first thing I saw in this huge place was the Shie Hassakai's symbol, it was kind of a white flower. I turned around and saw a boy on a bench reading a book, he didn't care about my presence. The boy had beautiful yellow eyes, shaggy auburn hair and was wearing a mask. I walked to him, I was hesitant at first but then sighted and greeted him with a «Hi!» he glared at me and didn't care about what I said. It's just like I was invisible, I felt guilty but took the courage to present myself. «My name's Kurono Hari, I am new here, nice to meet you!», he looked at me for some time and finally said: « I am Kai...Kai Chisaki» He seemed not to be good and comfortable with conversations but that's okay! «May I sit next to you?» he gazed at me again and nodded. I then heard a knock at the door and it was the "boss" (or known as «pop's» in the anime). I stood up and bowed: «It's a pleasure to meet you sir.» He smiled , « Nice to meet you Kurono.» He then looked at Kai who was still stick on his book. He asked : « Kai, did you greet our new member? », Kai shook his head as a yes, « did you show him around? » The boy sat there silently looking down this time, the old man sighted and ordered the dark haired little boy to show me the place. Kai agreed and walked away. «He will show you around, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask him alright?», «yes sir !» I smiled and followed the boy. We both were silent the entire time. When we finished he finally spoke: «any questions?», «No, thank you so much .» he just answered with a "mhm" . I rubbed the back of my neck and smiled nervously. Kai was about to leave but I reached his hand, he was surprisingly wearing gloves. ' What a germaphobe ', he glanced at his hand rubbed by mine. His face read a "why are you touching me?" expression, « Would you like to be friends...? » He took some time to answer but agreed at the end. I was joyful, my first friend and soon best friend.
Months have passed after this, we became so close. We played and laughed a lot .
We even made promises.
