On my way home, I start thinking about the conversation with Will.
What made him pick me? Why did he pick me? I'm just a girl for crying out loud!
My phone dings and scares me out of my thinking. I look and there is a text from my mom.
' Where r u'
' On my way home. What's up?'
' I need you to babysit for a little while.'
Why can't Jack do that?'
'Cuz he is over at Leo's house . Just get over here.'
' Ok I'm on my way.'
15 minutes go by and I'm at my house babysitting while mom goes to the grocery store.
She gets back soon and we fix taco salad. I cooked and seasoned the meat while mom got the other condiments out and ready.
After we eat I go upstairs and do my home work. while I was working on English I got a text from Will.
' How was the rest of your day?'
'Good. Wbu?'
'Same. OK, so down to business, ask your parents if you can go to Scotties pizza.'
'Will we speak more about our earlier conversation?' Right about now I'm getting a little excited! I would like to know more about K. I. A.
'Yes. Now will you ask?' to me that came out a little impatiently but that could just be me.
' Ok, fine just give me a sec'
I go down stairs and ask mom, "Can I go to Scotties pizza tomorrow after school mom?"
"Who are you planning on going with?" She replied
"Just some friends from school. Don't worry we aren't going to do anything bad!" I say hurriedly
" Fine you can go but you have to be back by 8:45. It's a school night."
I jump up and down excitedly. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!"
I run up stairs and text Will back saying
' Mom said yes but I have to be back by 8:45.'
'OK meet me there at 3:30."
'I will!'
I then get ready for bed and go to sleep.
