chapter 2

The next day at school was torture it was Friday so i had a quiz in 2 of my classes but That wasn't too bad because it happened every Friday so I was used to it by now. Nope the torturous part was that I didn't get to talk to Riley all day because he was on a football field trip with the rest of the team.

Lilly and Cassidy where already at my house when I got home (I had called them earlier to see if they could come over)

"Hey k!" They said at the same time

"woah you guys are creepy" I laughed

"sooooo" Lilly said

"what?"

"you never told us what that phone call was yesterday" Cassidy finished for her

it was true when they asked me who it was I had brushed it off and mumbled something about it being Josie

" so it was this gu-" I got cut off in the middle of my sentence by Lilly and Cassidys screeching. I told them about how Riley was single now and that he had asked me out tomorrow

" omggggg you know what we need to do?! We need to go to the mall"

"We can't" I replied sadly

"ughhh I hate that we can't go in public together"

So we ended up shopping online for a cute outfit to wear tomorrow and finally ended up going with a pear of skinny jeans and one of my moms oversized sweaters with a white tank top underneath.

I wake up the next morning at 7 unable to fall back a sleep so I get up and take a shower in my bathroom and watch a movie until 11:30 when I get up get dressed do my makeup and nails and downstairs but I'm to nervous to eat so I call Josie and talk to her for 20 minutes before I get in the car and head to the restaurant where we are going to eat lunch.

I sit down at a table and wait for him to show up

"Khai?" I turn around

" hey Riley!" I say i reach up to hug him and dang he smells good. he sits across from me and wow i cant believe this is actually happening, calm down, i thought to myself it will be fine. and it was we had a great time just talking while we waited for our food. i leaned that he has two twin sisters and that his dad died right after they where born but when her asked me about my parents i had to give a vague answer then quickly Change the subject.

the food was still hot when it came  and we paused our talking to eat onece and a while until it was time for a movie we walked over to themovie theater that was right across the street.

it turns out Riley is one of the funniest people over ever met we laughed and talked so much my throat hurt later when I got home that night. After the movie we walked back to my car.

" bye khai" he said

and when he kissed me I didn't resist

"Bye Riley"

we kissed again and he walked back to his car.

Later I was watching a show with my mom in her and my dads room when my phone started to buzz

I got up and picked through my jacket that I had thrown on the flor.

"hello?" I answered

"Hey khai! It's Riley"

"oh hey Riley!

"so I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house tomorrow and have dinner with my family?"

"Oh my gosh yeah! That would be awesome!"

" really! Great! Ok I'll text you my address why don't u come around 6?"

" Sure sounds fun I'll see you tomorrow then"

im pretty sure that i fell asleep smiling that night.
