The Key

Angel got to Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi.

"Are you ok, Angel?" "No. I have a replica on Lyoko... everything will be bad now. You guys did beat XANA, but... this might complicate everything..." Ulrich put his hand on her shoulder. "Everything will be fine. We are going to the dance together, right?" She smiled at him and nodded. "Of course." Yumi watched them, "I'm going with William. Odd?" Odd sighed, "I don't--" "You can join us, Odd. We all can be a trio." "No. I'll figure something out, right?" "I don't remember. Sorry."

"That's alright." "Hey Ul--" "No Sissi. I'm going with my girlfriend to the dance." "What? But--" "The answer is no." Sissi growled then walked away.

"I better look for William." "Bye, Yumi." Yumi walked away from the trio. "I'll go find me a date." Odd left in a hurry. "Let's get going, Ulrich." He nodded then they walked off.

A girl walked up to Odd.

"Hey... I saw you talking to my sister. You're Odd, right? Code Lyoko?" Odd looked at her, "huh? I guess that's me. You're Angel's sister?" "Yes. I'm her twin. She disappeared and now I somehow ended up here like she did apparently. This episode is The Key. I've watched some of your show. So um... don't tell her I'm here, ok? We never got along."

"Oh, sure. No problem. Oh! Would you like to go to the dance with me? We can stay away from the couple." She smiled at him and nodded. "Sure, Odd. Your jokes are the best after all." He smiled at her, "thanks. Oh yeah, yout name?" "Ashley, call me Ash." "Ok, Ash. See you later." "Bye Odd!"

Ash smirked.

Angel took Ulrich and Yumi to the factory.

"We are getting there early, huh?" "Not too early, Yumi." She smiled at her they they got to the elevator. They got to the scanners where Aelita waited for them.

They soon were virtualized to Lyoko.

Ash smiled as Odd got there.

"Hey Odd. Glad you're here already." Odd smiled, "hey Ash. Huh?" He looked at his phone then answered. "Sorry Jeremy. I'm busy with my date to the dance." He hung up then smiled at her.

She smiled and led him inside. She smirked.

Their vehicles appeared.

"There you go. The edge of the sector is North-Northeast."

Angel rode with Ulrich.

"No monsters or the replica?"

"No. It's pretty weird that she isn't here at all." "I agree with Kairi."

"Don't worry. XANA wasn't expecting us."

"Enter the code."

"Ok. All aboard for Sector Five."

The transporter grabbed them and took them away.

They were soon in the elevator.

"Everybody ready? I'm going to enter the coordinates of the room where Aelita's fragment is."

"Get ready guys!"

The way opened and the group ran on through.

"You have three minutes to find the key and stop the countdown."

"I see it." "Out of reach like always." Creepers soon came out of their hidy holes. Ulrich and Yumi protected the group while Angel shot fire at the creepers.

"Only one minute to go."

She took them out as Yumi got to the key. She pressed the button as she threw fhe creeper to its doom.

They soon made their way down.

"You're really good at dancing, Ash. I wish you came sooner."

"I agree, Odd. This is really fun." Ash smiled at him then remembered her mission. "So um... how is Angel? Is William with XANA yet?" "Huh? Why does--" "He joins the group and XANA uses him. What, she didn't tell you?"

"No. She never told us a thing. She just now told us about Franz Hopper and Aelita being related." "I see. Not a very good friend. She was always mean to me... I'm like Sissi in a way, not loved by who I want to be loved by... it sucks being the half of a better one."

"You two should talk it out." "No way. She doesn't care about me..." He frowned at her.

"That's the fragment we need!"

The group ran towards it. Creepers came after them though. Yumi got hit and Angel took it out. The girls stayed behind and Yumi took out the second one. Ulrich also stayed behind to fight.

More showed and the trio ran off to Aelita.

"Go on guys! I got them!" She rushed off towards the Creepers and took them out. She soon remembered, "no!" She ran back to the group as another came. Yumi was taken out and the floors began to fall.

The Mantas helped them to the fragment.

Angel and Aelita were safe. Aelita grabbed the fragment, but it soon broke. Ulrich got squashed though. "It's a trap!"

The Scyphozoa came after them.

She frowned then stsyed put. "It's ok, Aelita. Let it get your memory." "What?!" "We can kill XANA and save your dad this way!" "Al-alright."

The Scyphozoa got what it wanted then XANA got out. Franz Hopper saved Aelita then they were taken back to the factory.

"That was-- hold on." Odd got out his phone and answered it. "Jeremy? What?! Are you serious? Ok. I'm on my way there." He hung up then looked at Ash.

"You have to go?" "Yeah. She you around?" She smiled at him and nodded. "Totally." He ran off, grinning.

She smirked and walked off.

"So XANA is out... William will now be a vic--"

"Odd... how do you know that?" "Um..." "Odd?" "Nothing." "We won't need William, but we can save him from being taken over by XANA. Get him there then take him out quickly. Simple."

"Are you positive?" "Yes, Ulrich. No Sector Five for him. We can't get him taken over and kept on Lyoko by XANA."

They all held hands. "It's our job to beat XANA, right?" """""Yeah!"""""
