X.A.N.A Awakens Pt2

Angel smiled as 'Maya' found how to get to the tower she was in.

"Hey." "Hello. So, tell me about yourself." "I made a wish and now I'm here. My world is quite different from theirs and yours." "Oh?" "This place is a show where I'm from. You gotta keep this a secret, please. I don't want them to freak out." "I understand. You will tell them on your own." She nodded, "yeah."

"Unfortunately, you're not like the others. You can't be devirtualized when you lose your life points."

"Too bad. At least now I know how to change sectors. Angel and I are in the tower nearby the red tower that she and the others found."

"Good. I found out about the towers--"

"Portals from here to there. That's how XANA can do bad things to our world. We find the red tower then stop it. It's simple really. Just gotta get Maya inside since only she can do it. We need everyone though. Odd, Ulrich, and... ugh. Get Ulrich to Yumi please. She will be a big help."

"Hmm. Alright. What about Sissi?"

"She actually wants to go, but she won't be useful. But, make it look like we need her."

"I got it. See you girls later."

Jeremy went off.

Angel groaned a bit. "I want to finish this and get out. I haven't had food in forever." 'Maya' looked to her. "Food?" "Yeah. Food. Don't worry, you get to taste it when we get you out of here." She smiled at her happily.

"Maya, Angel, can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear. You have Yumi?"

"I do. I'm sending them to you both now."

"Hopefully the right tower." Angel got up and stretched. "Ready, Maya?" "I'm ready." The girls soon walked out of the tower and three cubes surrounded them. "You got to be kidding me."

"Hiya!" Ulrich jumped up and stabbed the cube to their left. Odd landed by them. "Hi. Are you Maya? I'm Odd. I have to admit, you are a real cutie. Jeremy's got taste." He got over to them and blocked an attack with his sword. "No time for flirting, Odd. We've got work to do." "You're right." Yumi looked at herself. "Hey, I don't have a weapon." She soon got out a fan. "A fan? That's all?" "Throw it, Yumi!" She threw hit shouting. The fan destroyed the last two cubes. "Not bad." She caught it as it came back. "Wow. I think I'll keep it." She went to the group.

"Nice work. Now bring Maya into the red tower, so we can stop XANA and get her materialized."

The five started running towards the red tower.

"Return to the past will bring us back the day of the first attack... don't need an example for the report..." Angel mumbled with sassiness.

"Hey, Odd--"

"He won't remember! I'll help him, since I know about that one thing only! We are almost at the tower! Also, monsters up ahead!" The group stopped as the crab monsters showed up. "Not the crabs! I maybe able to do something." Angel ran towards the crabs, Keyblade in hand. They fired, making her block them. She got under one. "THUNDER!" Yellow lightning attacked tbe top of the crab. It fell over, vanishing in an explosion. "I did it!"

The group then separated, running away from the last crab.

It went after Odd, trying to get him.

Angel grabbed 'Mayas' hand and ran with her to the tower. She pushed her inside then ran at the crab. Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi were already gone. "Hey!" It looked at her. "You missed me!" She did the finger wiggle wave. It soon fired at her. She let it hit her, "ngh!" She fell over. "Ow..." It shot at her again and she got hit. "Ah!" She vanished.

Angel crawled out of the scanner and ground. She was soon engulfed by a white light.

Angel rushed over to the trio as Jeremy got there. "It worked. The first attack was today, which was yesterday when we got to the tower." Odd looked at her, "too much. But, Einstein, you're a genius." He put in a coin and pressed a button. "Your return to the past... it works!" "What's that? What are you talking about?"

"He forgot. It's only natural. He was never in Lyoko." He looked at her. "You know all about Lyoko? But how come?" "It's fine. We can just take him to his room. Fill him in." The group took Jeremy to the dorms and to Jeremy's room. Odd and Ulrich sat on the bed, Yumi stood next to Ulrich, and Angel was next to Jeremy.

She explained everything to Jeremy in science talk, to help him understand.

'Maya' was on screen. "But why would I not remember anything?" "You just need to scan yourself and bam. Also, we're not shutting down the computer, Aelita." "Aelita?"

"When I went into the tower, I remembered my name."

"Aelita is better than Maya, no? Also, we are getting you out of there, Aelita. Let's keep being a team until we are done with our mission." "Please guys?" Angel and Jeremy looked over at the trio. The trio looked at each other. "Ok." "Thanks, guys." "It will take awhile, so we gotta keep fighting. Let's go."

The four left Jeremy and Aelita in peace.

"Ulrich!" They turned to see Sissi all dressed up.

"What are you doing here? I've been waiting for you for an hour! I've never been stood up like this before!" "There's always a first time. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm with my friends." The group turned snd walked down the hall. "I'll make you pay! Did you hear that, Ulrich?!" Odd looked back, "I've got a bad feeling about this girl. Sissi. I get the idea that she's gonna give us a lot of grief."

Angel laughed with Odd.
