Chapter 9

Phil

Minx, Schlatt and I ended up talking until around 6 pm

"He tripped over a root and ate shit!" Schlatt laughed slapping his leg

Minx and I wheeze

"I CAN'T BREATHE!" I wheezed holding a hand over my chest

Techno walks in from the back door and stares at us before slowly putting his gear away and heading to the kitchen, I assume to eat.

We settle down after a few minutes and Schlatt looks at his watch before standing and stretching

He looks back at me

"I think it's about time we head home now, ya know get out of your hair," he says as minx I stand up

"Yea for sure, um you wanna go get tubbo?" I ask

He nods and we both walk to Teagan's room

I knock and get no answer

I look at Schlatt then back at the door before knocking again

No answer

'Um...okay?'

I place my hand on the doorknob and crack the door before opening it fully.

Schlatt looked in the room and put his hand on my shoulder and looking at me and then back at the scene before us.

Tubbo and Teagan are asleep leaning on each other while being supported by the bed and wall

I look at him wide-eyed

"Well this is new" I whisper

He nods

"So do we wake them or...?" He questions

"I don't know, Tea looks peaceful for once and I don't really want to ruin that," I say

"As for Tubbo that's up to you" I add looking at him

He nods and walks over to the pair before gently picking him up bridal style

He turns to walk out but stops and shifts Tuboo so he has a free hand, he reaches into his pocket and hand me a paper

"Um this is Tubbos number for Teagan if she wants it," he says to me

I nod and smile at him

'God I need to get her a phone'

He exits, leaving me and Teagan

I decide to move her to her bed so she's not in pain in the morning

I pick her up and place her in the bed carefully

I pull the covers up to her shoulder and kiss her forehead

I turn the lights off and left her to rest

---Time skip---

After I finished cleaning up the remains from Schlatt and minx I made my way to the kitchen, noticing techno I decide to spark a conversation.

"Hey Techno, how did sparring practice go," I ask while placing dishes in the sink

He looks up from his book and food

"Oh, it went well, I absolutely demolished dream today," he says monotone but I can't tell he's proud of himself

"Oh fuck yeah, I'm happy for you, mate," I tell him

He smiles and continues to read but not before asking how my day was.

"Yeah my day was great, you know it turns out that we were right about the Tubbo we know being the same Tubbo Teagan would talk about" I explain whilst drying dishes

"Oh cool, what happened with them?" He asks

I set the dishes down

"Well they figured it out once they saw the matching spinner rings they both have" I start to explain

"Then Teagan practically dragged Tubbo up the stairs and they stayed in her room the whole time, but when Schlatt and I went to go get them to go home and they were leaning on each other, dead asleep" I laugh dryly

He looks at me and nods

"Well I'm glad it was actually him and not some random," he says laughing silently

I hum in agreement

Technoblade

I walked into the living room where I saw my dad wheezing and schlatt doubled over

'Um...alright then'

I chose to ignore what I just saw and put my gear away before walking to my kitchen to have a snack

---Time skip---

I'm currently eating some ramen while reading my favourite book

I notice my dad walking in from the living room and he sets some dishes in the sink to wash

I continue to read but am interrupted when my dad asked about my day

I told him about how I beat Dream in a duel today and he said he was happy for me so I asked about his day

He told me about the reunion of Teagan and Tubbo, see we knew a Tubbo and figured he could be the person Teagan would talk about, I mean honestly, how many kids are named 'Tubbo'? It wasn't hard to connect the dots.

I told them I was happy for them and finished the last of my food and wash my dish, I tell Phil goodnight because I was heading to my room, probably for the night.
