Chapter 10

Dev's POV

After I went up our room with Harry he was just staring at me so I told him everything from the time when Mellie found Kriss to where we found her. He was just staring at me like there was something wrong with me so I ran into the bathroom in my room. I locked the door and after that I heard Harry banging on the door telling me to let him in the bathroom. After 10 minutes his pleads stop and I heard him slide down the wall. " Just let me in please Devynne just please I didn't mean it." He pleaded. I slowly crawled to the door and opened It real fast making him fall on his back and groan. It looked like he had been crying because his face was pale and he had red eyes. " I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore after I tell this story a lot of people don't want to be me. I would call myself unwanted, but I'm not into that band. (Sorry no hate on the Wanted, but my friends call them the unwanted so I just had to put that in there) My statement made Harry chuckle and then start laughing really hard. To me he looked like a psycho....... "AM I A PSYCHO YEA IM A PYSCHO" I belted out the lyrics, which made Harry laugh even more. I sat down in the doorway waiting for him to stop laughing. When was all settled he took my hands and looked into my eyes and just stared at me not that I minded he has some sexy eyes. " You think I have sexy eyes?" He said laughing. Oh crap did I say that out loud. " Yeah you did." He said looking at me quite amused. Oh crap I said that out loud too. " Don't say it I know I probably did." I said cutting him off before he said anything about me saying that out loud. " I wasn't gonna say that..... I was gonna say you look really pretty when your in deep thought and no I won't leave you. Why would I leave you at the time when you need me most or at all? I love you and I hope that you love me too." He said looking me in the eyes. I smiled and said, " I love you too, so much that you don't even know."

Mellie's POV

I heard Dev singing 'Am I a Psycho' lyrics. She knows I hate that song. I don't know why, but it scares the crap out of me. I shuddered then realized Niall was still in the room, but when I looked over he was gone. I sighed and let a tear slip out of my eye, it is all my fault I should have made the plan to go to the beach and I never should have made my mom go to the store for me before she came and picked me up.. I quickly wiped it away because I heard Niall coming. When I saw him he had a blanket in his hand and some movies an a lot of popcorn and then bag of candy.

I smiled at the sight of him. " I love you and I'm sorry I got you in this." I said looking down my smile now gone. " Melainey don't say that I'm happy that I met you probably the way I did, but still and I love you too come on sit down lets talk." He said. We sat down on his bed and I don't know why, but I guess I just came out I never told anyone not even Kriss. I actually wanted to tell him why they got into the car accident. " Can I tell you something, but promise you won't leave me." I said looking down. " I won't leave you ever believe me." he said rubbing my back. I looked up and took a really big breath. " Okay so I was only 9 and I was at Kriss's. My mom had called and told me she was coming to get me. I said ok, but as usual I wanted something to eat when I got in the car. I told her to go to the store and go get me Twizzlers. She agreed since I had done nothing wrong and plus we only lived around the corner so it wouldn't take long." I told him. He nodded as if telling me to go on. " Well I told her too and she hadn't came and it had been an hour. I didn't really think anything of it since whenever she went to the store to go get something in particular she always ended up getting something more. Kriss's house phone rung and I picked it up like usual since I practically lived there. When I answered the person on the other end asked for Ericka, Kriss's mom. I called her into the room and she got the phone. She was nodding at first then she gasped and hung-up. She told us to get in the car, we did as we were told and we drove off to the hospital. I knew something was bad I just had that feeling and when the doctor called me into a room he told me what happened. I sat there crying for what felt like ages and then Ericka came to get me. The doctor told me I get to see her, but she is in a coma. At the time I didn't care I just wanted to see her." I looked over at Niall who looked like he was going to cry.
