Chapter 11 - Noodles

Sorry that I have been inactive for a while I was finishing school and for those of you who follow me you might have saw the announcement that I binged a bunch of fanfiction. But I'm back now and I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

"So how is everything going with the whole redemption process?" You asked Charlie as you ate lunch with her.

"Still the same thing as before. Some of them have improved a little bit, but not all that much. Amélie seems to be trying to adjust in and I think that's only because of Katy. There's this other guy that I think might be redeemed sooner then Katy surprisingly. Other then that everybody is just getting used to everything. Or they're not trying to. But I won't give up on them, cause I know every one of them can be redeemed!" She slammed her fist on top of her hand in a enthusiastic way.

"There's the girl I know. Glad to see you not doubting it," you said as you continued to eat my noodles.

"How about you? How's work going for you?" She propped her head up on her arm.

"Boring. Most of the time they just surrender immediately and it's starting to irritate me," you said earning yourself a confused look from Charlie.

"Isn't that a good thing though?" She said with her face stuffed with noodles.

"I mean from your perspective yes because you're not a fan of violence but for me it's frustrating cause it's boring. Even if they were to try and put up at least a bit of a fight it would be entertaining, but no everyone sees the big bad shadow man and it's suddenly 'oh no my pussy hurts,' " you mocked making Charlie laugh.

"Well, you know you can't always expect them to want to fight you. After all weren't you one of the top killers," she said puffing out her chest making you laugh.

"I never do that!" You smiled.

"Yes you do!" she said.

"When?" You asked laughing at her and crossing your arms.

"I don't know. Just seems like something you would do," she giggled.

"Sure it is. Anyways, I would still like some excitement. Oh I should totally start a bar fight!" You said excited.

"Calm down babe. You'll get your excitement soon. Although it may not necessarily be a fight~" she muttered to herself.

"What do you mean?" You asked while being muffled due to noodles being shoved in your mouth.

"Huh? Oh nothing. I just said that you'll get your excitement soon," she said with an innocent smile.

"You know you're the only thing that's keeping me from utter boredom," You said propping my feet up on her desk.

"First off no boots on the desk. Second you are such a drama queen," she said rolling her eyes and smiling.

"Oh no Charlie, I don't think I can bear another minute of not spending every second of my life with you. Oh what shall I ever do if I am ever to be separated from your loving embrace-" You joked.

We kept eating and talking, enjoying the time that we were able to spend time together, until Vaggie entered the room. She looked around the room a bit as if she was looking for something.
