Chapter 7- Confessions

Hey sorry for such the long wait like I said in my announcement I fell out of the fandom a bit but I think I've restored it enough to keep writing.

It may not be the best but I tried to make as good as I can and I want to get going with the next chapter.

Also your title is now the Shadow Man not Shadow Demon.

Your POV

I was standing in front of Charlie with my arms crossed glaring down at her. I wasn't exactly pissed, but I wasn't exactly happy about being spied on, especially since she probably over heard me talking about her.

"What are you doing here?"

"W-Well the shadow things at the hotel s-started twitching a lot and, uh, Al said I should follow one. So I did, but I, umm... I got lost. I eventually found you here... and I-I-"

"Decided to eavesdrop on me?" I asked in a stern tone.

"N-No! W-Well, I-I... I'm sorry (Y/N), I-I-I shouldn't have-"

I raised my hand as a sign to tell her to stop, which she did and looked away even more sad. I rubbed the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath.

"It's fine." She looked shocked when I said this, but didn't say anything. "Did you come here with anyone else?"

"Yeah I came with Vaggie."

"And where is she?"

"Umm... she was in the car when I got out, but.."

"You ran off without her didn't you?"

"I might've." Charlie said avoiding eye contact.

"Well come on, let's get you out of here." I grabbed her hand and started leading her through the forest.

Charlie POV

I don't know what it was but as he held my hand and led me through the forest, I felt safe, safer then I ever felt before. I know he may be upset but this still felt nice... I really hope I'm the one he was talking about.

Your POV

It took us a little bit but thankfully we were able to make it out of the forest.

"Hey the limo is over this way!" She said running over to see that Vaggie's door was open.

"I'm guessing that's her door?" I walked up beside her, as she nodded her head. "I'll go find her, you stay here. And hold onto these." I handed her the flowers, before turning around to head back into the forest.

"I'm coming with you!"

"No, you're going to stay right here until I get back."

"But-"

"Charlotte!"

"Yeah?"

"I still haven't completely forgiven you for eavesdropping on me earlier." I looked over my shoulder and slightly glared at her. I watched her shudder a bit before she slouched down. "The least you can do is stay here until I get back with Vaggie."

"Ok." She muttered in a sad tone.

I walked off towards the forest to go find Vaggie. I had already forgiven her for eavesdropping, but I needed her to listen to me especially with where we're at, it's not safe.

Hopefully she won't be too upset when we get back. Maybe I should ask her if she still wants to go on that walk when we get back to the hotel.
