Not that easy

chapter five

         We were in the middle of training when the alarm sounded. We were under attack. I grabbed Ella and ran her to the safe house. She was crying but I had to leave to go help.

        I ran to go help the others. I shifted mid air into a big black wolf. I looked around for my pack. Then I saw it. Five rouges had Derek cornered. I ran at them and took down three. While Derek took down two.

       I looked around for Jas and realized these rouges had made a pack. That meant there was an alpha. I looked around and found him. I headed his direction killing routes that got in my way.

            A female jumped in front of me and I knew it was the Luna of the rouges. She was smaller than me but then again most males are. We circled each other when she slipped. I took the opportunity to attack. I am not crul so I made it quick. A bite to the neck.

        As I had planned it distracted the rouges. Then the alpha was standing in front of me. He saw his dead mate and started to attack me. But he was blinded by rage and he did not realize I was more than his match. He was dead within seconds.

       A wolf walked up to me it was the beta. " you killed our alpha you are now alpha." The beta would usually take the place as alpha. Unless the Luna and alpha are killed by the same wolf. Also that wolf has to be more dominant.

           "  Come inside I will get y'all cleaned up." I say as I start to walk and check on Ella. Then I here Jessica speak up. " They attacked our pack and you are just going to let them stay here." I turned around and slapped her." Do not speak to me as if you are more dominant you don't have that right. You are ma slut and a whore and you will not speak to me like that. I am an alpha now and you can't even fight me when I am human and you are a wolf." I say all this in voice that is scarier than yelling.

          " Now come on, from this day forward we are the glowing river pack." I turned to my Dad." We would like to make an alliance with you." My Dad is brining from ear to ear as he shakes my hand. Jas comes up behind me and kisses my head." Baby I know you are alpha but I would like to join your pack." The beta gladly steps down saying he has a family and Jas is the new beta.

        But this is just the beginning I still I have to train this pack and now mine. The beta tells me that other rouges are making packs also. This war is far from over.

            Once my new pack is cleaned up I find out that they have a territory. They also have children I know we have to leave for a few days.

" jas I am leaving to go get the pack children I need you to stay here and help train."

"What no. No way. I am coming with you"

" no your not ypouneed to stay here and train this pack. They were getting slaughtered because the don't know how to fight they need our help."

            He finally dropped his head in defeat. I knew he wanted to come with me. But this pack needed help and so did mine. The tied in command walked up to me.

" its time to go alpha"

"  You don't have to call me alpha call me  Evelyn."

" okay thank you a..Evelyn"

       I said good bye to my boys and wen with my pack. We had just crossed the border when the attack started.
