not megumi's real mom

chapter 4

Ten years later.

Megumi and Nobara are standing infront of jujutsu tech. The atmosphere was quite depressing, but how could it not be. Their classmate just died.

'Are you sad?'

'Ofcourse not. I just met the guy like two weeks ago'

Silence fell over the two again. Both felt tears building up in their eyes.

Megumi gasped as he suddenly felt two arms wrap around him from behind. He felt a familiar sense of comfort and the smell of vanilla filled the air. He knew immediately who was hugging him.

'Megumiiii'

'Hey mom, what are you doing here?'

Nobara looked up surprised. When she looked at the woman who was supposedly Megumi's mother she couldn't find any similarities at all. Still, she couldn't help but think that this was a pretty lady.

'I... heard about your classmate Megs. I wanted to know how you're holding up after that'

'I-im fine, don't worry about it'

'Im always worried Megumi'

Megumi had a small smile on his face. He was happy y/n cared so much and he was happy she was here, she always is when he needs her.

Suddenly a white haired male appeared. Y/n let go of Megumi and ran right into Satoru's arms. They shared a long hug.

Is that Satoru?

I let go of Megumi and ran upto him wrapping my arms around him. He wrapped his arms tightly around my back and laid his head ontop of mine. I lost my concept of time for a bit, the hug felt like it was really long but super short at the same time. We broke the hug just enough to be able to look at eachother. Gojo cupped my face and smiled at me. For less than a second our lips were together. He had given me a small kiss on the lips.

Megumi wasn't really shocked. It wasn't really new to him. They have been like that for years now, but they aren't a couple. Yet. Everyone who has seen the two of them together knows that they are definitely in love with eachother, yet they still won't admit it. Which omething that annoys Megumi a lot since they're so obvious it hurts. They also both claim to not "want a committed relationship" everytime Megumi asks why they aren't in relationship yet. He once overheard them saying they were so called "friends with benefits". Its been that way many years by now. Gojo and y/n walked up to him.

'Hey there, how are you two holding up?'

'...'

'Megumi its-'

'Impolite to ignore someone? I know mom.. and im fine Satoru'

'Good, anyway...y/n ill see you tomorrow'

'Yeah see you'

Gojo says goodbye to his two students and leaves. Megumi sees y/n watching him leave. The way she looks at Gojo... its so obvious even he can see it.

'You should marry him already, and if he doesn't want you like that then you deserve better y/n'

'Don't worry about it Megs. You're the one i love most in the entire world. That will never change'

'You can love multiple people you know'

Y/n chuckled.

'I know that'

After all that Nobara demanded some explanations. I mean all of a sudden Megumi's mom showed up. She didn't even know he had any parents. And his mom seems to be having some kind of relationship with Gojo too. It was all too weird and confusing for her to handle.

'So are you two going to explain all that or not, cause what the fuck'

'lets go get lunch and i'll explain. You're megumis classmate right?'

'yeah'

After deciding where we were going for lunch we went to a small sushi place. We sat down at a table and all three of us ordered.

'So are you going to tell me anything or not?'

'Im y/n, nice to meet you'

'Nobara Kugisaki. so whats the deal with you, Megumi and Gojo-sensei'

'She's basically my nonbiological mom. I've lived with her and Gojo-sensei for about ten years. I've known her for eleven years now i think'

'And what about-'

'Satoru's my friend. We've been living together for ten years now. Megumi too, but he recently moved into the dorms here and Satoru has been going on business so i basically live alone again'

'Oh im sorry to hear that miss Fushiguro'

'Its l/n actually but don't worry about it, really'

'Soo do you have any baby pictures of Megumi? Or Gojo sensei?!'

'No she d-'

'Lots actually, i can show you the albums sometime. I also have a few on my phone, my personal favorite being Satoru and Megumi being dressed up as volleyballs. It was such a random thing Satoru suddenly came home with'

Nobara tried holding in her laugh and so did i. Megumi however was not enjoying this as much. I took out my phone qnd looked for the pictures. I was about to show it to her when..

'Can you please not show her those?'

'No'

'But y/n'

'Whats in it for me'

'Ill vacuum the house for an entire month'

'Tempting, but you live in the dorms here now sweetie'

'Thats true but i can come home for it... its not that far away'

'It does mean ill get to see you more, plus i hate vacuuming'

'I know'

'Okay deal'

Megumi sighed. He hates vacuuming too, but not as much as i do.

'Here is your food, i hope you all will enjoy it'

The waiter placed the food down and we ate together. It was really fun.
