The brunette panted as he raced through the thick forest on foot. He was too weak to shift, having lost too much blood when the Head Alpha of his pack attacked him. His mind racing as tears flooded his vision, making it hard to navigate through the dense trees. His heart clenched harshly as flashes of that afternoon invaded his thoughts. They were dead. His parents, his sister.. murdered horribly for keeping his true rank a secret and for protecting him when the pack found out. The images of them covered in blood, bodies torn apart crowding his mind and he struggled to breathe.

Angered growls reached his ears and he pushed himself to run faster. As soon as his secret was found out, he was made a rogue. Rogues are packless wolves, often crazed and hostile. But he wasn't crazed nor hostile, he was just a pained wolf thrown out of his pack for being alive. And now he was being hunted by his former pack mates just for being born. He wasn't going to give up. He wouldn't let his family die in vain.

He ran, and ran until suddenly he was flying. His foot caught on a tree root, tripping him and sending him flying into a tree. A loud, pained yelp left his lips as his back crashed against the tree. Normally, he  would be fine in a few seconds, but they injected him with wolfsbane. A deadly compound to werewolves, which was even more deadly to his breed of werewolf. His skin and veins felt as if they were on fire but the adrenaline in coursing through his body pushed the pain out of his mind.  They were getting closer, and he knew if he didn't get up, he'd be dead in seconds.

So he scrambled to his feet and took off running again. The brunette could feel it as he got further and further away from his pack, the bond breaking. It was painful and made his heart ache, but as soon as the bond was fully severed, he felt no attachment to that place at all, just the aching pain from the loss of his family, and the immense hatred he had for his former Head Alpha and pack mates. Now he was truly a rogue. He had no pack, no home, and was being hunted.

But then he felt a shift in atmosphere. He slowly stopped running as he heard his former packs warriors shift back into their human forms. His senses were always super sharp, so he could hear them even if he couldn't see them.

"He's their problem now."

"He'll be dead by sunrise."

"Those wolves are monstrous towards outsiders."

"He should've let up catch him, who knows what they're going to do to him."

There was a small pause in their conversation. And the brunette snapped his head towards his right side after he heard a twig snap.

"Shit! Patrol! Lets get the fuck out of here!" And with that he could hear them shifting and running back the way they came.

The brunette stood confused as his arm subconsciously wrapped around his stomach, holding his side. His hand was immediately covered in the thick, warm substance that flowed out of him steadily. Another branch snapped and slowly but surely the scent of Alphas and Betas hit his senses. The amount of pheromones they were releasing, showed they felt he was a threat and that made him worried. He didn't want to be attacked again, and he really wasn't a threat. He just wanted to be left alone or given a place to stay.

It didn't take long before the brunette found himself surrounded by ten pack warriors. He knew they weren't from his former pack, he could smell it. They were all in their wolf forms, mainly dark brown and grey in colour. He could feel his adrenaline wearing off as the pain in his body increased. He stood in his place, wondering if they were going to shift and ask him questions or if they were just going to attack.

His question was answered a few minutes later as one of the Alpha's lunged at him. He thought quickly, jumping up as the Alpha charged at him. He used the Alpha's body to boost himself up, and grabbed onto a tree branch. A loud, pained groan left his lips as he pulled himself to sit on the tree branch and continued to climb up until there were twelve thick branches between him and the wolves below.
